beliveau1
After last nights fiasco, thanks mainly to Aebischer, this team desperately needs a win. All I can say is that I hope they run with Halak, win or lose, as long as possible. Give him a chance to prove himself..... Run him 'til he drops, cause Aebischer was just plain ugly last night! He was flip flopping around worse than a politician at a Liberal convention.... :ghg: Edited March 3, 2007 by beliveau1

smon
The team needs to win against anyone, period. I hope David Aebischer doesn't play again this year after the show he put on last night. Leighton could prove yet to be useful.

beliveau1
Bouillon out (about time). RDS. If so then it is about time. I like him for his heart, but this year he has been a shadow of last year. He isn't playing the body, or as aggressive in the defensive zone as he was last year. Very tentative out there - playing a small man's game this year. He may be a home town favourite, but he isn't earning the money he signed for at this point. p.s. dress Leighton and send a message to Aebischer = he needs to get his head together as he is a mess out there right now (can't be any worse?) mathieu30
Some succeed because they are destined too, but most succeed because they are determined too Go :hlogo: go! The Saint
Well, last night's game was a test of nerves for us fans, and though the boards were fun, if not chaotic and manic, I hope we come out with a win tonight. For all of those who like to place the blame on any single element of this team, keep in mind, when one piece is defective most machines will fail at some point. To me, our D was terrible last night, and our goaltending was extremely inconsistent, which breeds a lack of confidence which spread like a wildfire through some of the vets in this troupe. Yes our "core" as some of you term them has disappeared, but a TEAM will cover for each other so that no ONE ever has to shoulder all of the burden all season long. Our youth is bringing the energy, the vets have to pick it up because their skill alone hasn't amounted to much. Did you see the Buffalo line-up last night? 6 top tier players on the shelf and we couldn't bury them. Now that's a team. Bouillon sitting out is a good move. I no longer recognize the game he plays, I wonder if he does? The forwards need to put out some consistent hard work form start to finish, like our fourth line did and some of the other fellas too (Kosty, Pleks etc...) and our D and goaltending have to give us a chance or we are done, not only for tonight, but for the year, I fear. On that note, I am putting out some serious big time koochy koo voodoo positive vibes to all of you on these boards, Habs fans everywhere and of course, the freakin' players. THIS SHIP NEEDS TO TURN AROUND TODAY. PERIOD. Come on boys, beat those Broons!
huzer
Go Habs! As noted in the Rangers game I'm watching now, the B's have surrendered over 50 shots in 2 of their last 3 games.
TheWhale
Now here's a team we can beat. Forget last night , that was just one of those games where we were badly overmatched. This Boston team is more like it , this is a team we can skate with. B)

TheWhale
This is the type of team we can get a win against and a boost of confidence. They're not going to score no 8 goals against us , I'll tell you that Edited March 3, 2007 by TheWhale

TheWhale
Wow The NYR won today and they have 2 games in hand on the Habs, that could be trouble . We need this one. CARBO"S GOTTA GO!!!!!!!! Maybe but that Time Out in the first period last night was huge Edited March 3, 2007 by TheWhale
Chris
You are aware the Habs have been nothing but an 8 seed the past 10 years, 1 point from where they currently reside. Please enlighten us as to why this is Carbo's fault as opposed to the lazy group of players he is working with?
