Tony
The link below has the article in French. http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20070502...12/CPSPORTS0101 Here's a translated version of the article in English. http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...Flanguage_tools Basically, the article says that he was in his junior team's city waiting for confirmation by the Dogs and he finally got it on Monday. He's getting ready to join the team. By the looks of things, he's the one that probably has a better chance of joining the line up (compared to Sergei Kostitsyn) with the recent defensive injuries for the Bulldogs. MAK
Great news !! this theam is heading in the right direction in a hurry. we'll be a force for years to come. since 2000, montreal as been better drafting wize. thanks to André savard for drafting well and picking trevor timmins. now, If those two russian D could come over, we wouldn't have any major flaws in our system. Tony
A dominant scoring center is still missing in the ol' prospect pool
Bullsmith
A dominant scoring center is still missing in the ol' prospect pool I guess Grabovski and Maxwell would rate highest. Not exactly Jokinen. Wouldn't he be loverly in mtl.

KoZed
Should be a good test of where Carle is in his development. The kid was just drafted last summer and he's already in the AHL. That's really quick. Shouldn't expect him to play a big role right off the bat, but its nice to see a very recent draft pick get some pro experience so fast. Easy Ryder
The organization slept all year long with the major club to bring upgrades. Nice to see that they are way more aggressive in their prospect development. In will only be good for his development to see and play pro playoffs. As a right D he will be behind O'byrne, Biron and Archer with the Dogs. The only thing that bugged me in the article was that the habs asked him to play a defensive role this year. !! I hope that they will not kill his offensive instincts, it would be so cool to have a d coach that tells his players to trust their instincts. montreal
Should be a good test of where Carle is in his development. The kid was just drafted last summer and he's already in the AHL. That's really quick. Shouldn't expect him to play a big role right off the bat, but its nice to see a very recent draft pick get some pro experience so fast. He missed the '05 draft by 14 days so he's really more like a '05 pick. The difference between Price and Carle's birthdate is about a month (August for Price, Sept for Carle) and he's had 4 years in the Q now. The Habs seem to like to pick late B-days. Carle, Valentenko, D'Agostini, Aubin
beliveau1
Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to watch Carle so can't get too excited just yet. The reports sound encouraging so far, but seeing is believing...... Edited May 4, 2007 by beliveau1
