JMMR Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 Just a couple observations from this game: * Ever notice how often Price gets beat on that deke to the backhand, shoot it 5 hole move? It's been happening for years, I think teams have caught on. Every goalie in the world gets scored on with this move. To move laterally you have to push off and spread your legs like a harlot and a skilled forward can slide the puck in very easily. See pretty much all Slava Kozlov goals on breakaways. DON Posted October 16, 2011 Share Posted October 16, 2011 Great game! Love to see anther 80 games like that. Desharnais is miles better than Gomez and fianlly got the ice time he deserved. What a nice line, Pacioretty with 8 shots, sweet. Young guys are holding their own. If only Price, Gill, Gorges and Subban get on track, all will be fine, but is friggin early in season.
