Guest Stogey24
Redmond might end up surprising people this year.
ehjay
I can't wait for puck drop, man no playoff seasons are bloody LOOOOONG to end. I don't even care if the drop today is pre-pre-season one (pre-season to me is 82 games). Have a great start lads\lass's here!!! And on the ice boys; set that frozen water on fire!!!!! dlbalr
I'm pleasantly surprised at Montreal's lineup. Usually the first couple of games feature lousy rosters but when you consider that Price, Weber, Markov, Emelin, Plekanec, and Pacioretty aren't available (the latter two will practice tomorrow), that's not a bad group for a preseason game. Quite a few interesting youngsters to follow.
nihilz
Couldn't agree more Ben. The org has done a great job at asset management since MB took over and we are finally starting to see the fruition. Very exciting times.

DON
Stupid RDS blackouts, not sure what I was thinking when added channel today. I guess can watch Bruins game and listen to TSN.
DON
Sounds like Condon coughed up soft rebound on 1st goal against.
nihilz
I'd say Barberio was slightly out of position and guffed up on stick checking Henrique.

You can get the Game in an Hour (RDS Express), that hasn't been blacked out in recent years. 3 minutes ago, DON said: image didn't show Copy/paste the URL of the picture (or tweet) and it should display on its own. dlbalr
Sounded like the Habs played well for the most part. I'm happy to see Eisenschmid get a goal (I'm happy he's finally healthy, he was starting to play well with St. John's before getting hurt last year). Juulsen leads the way with three hits from the third pairing.
dlbalr
Big news from the radio broadcast, a lot of the players not in the lineup tonight were lined up for a free hot dog during the intermission.
Guest Stogey24
Audette is a good little hockey player Juulsen just keeps air mailing passes. Looks nervous maybe, I don't know Lehkonen looks really good
dlbalr
Henrique scores on the PP, 2-1 Devils. Lindgren coming in now for the Habs as we're near the halfway mark.
dlbalr
End of 2, still 2-1 New Jersey. Hanley's getting a lot of ice time tonight, over 15 minutes already. Alexandrov has the lowest TOI among Montreal blueliners.
Guest Stogey24
Redmond has looked pretty bad. Some serious stone hands. Petry has made atleast 5, really solid defensive plays.

dlbalr
Listening to the TSN 690 intermission panel, they seem to be really big fans of Juulsen. Lehkonen's up to 5 shots so far tonight, it sounds like he certainly isn't hurting his case for a roster spot.
