Trizzak
It's the final game of this forgetful season. Projected lineup: Leafs don't appear to be resting anyone before the playoffs.
Trizzak
Ideal tank scenario: Habs lose, Arizona gets at least a point = Habs finish 3rd last. "Hello darkness my old friend..." tank scenario: Habs win, Vancouver loses, Detroit loses = Habs finish 6th last And there are a bunch of other scenarios in between that vary from "well I guess that's okay" to "no, no, god please no" but we'll cross those bridges if we come to them. DON
Go everyone... who can help final standings position for the Habs!
zumpano21
I would say that operation tank has been fairly successful regardless of where we end up tonight. Our job of hoping for disaster every night is pretty much done. Its now time for the disaster artist to pull the Lazarus move and resurrect this franchise. DON
Yes , hope the next time we see this team in 6 months, that they have spent near the cap and only have minor weaknesses at centre and top-4 d, not glaring holes. (is Dahlin left or right handed?)
zumpano21
Left handed. There should definitely be a draft lottery thread/party. I expect a big turnout.
DON
They keep babbling how good the Leafs are but why do they only have 3 shots so far. Wings up 1-
sbhatt
We can't afford a point in this game....so....Go Leafs Go
sbhatt
9 minutes ago, DON said: They keep babbling how good the Leafs are but why do they only have 3 shots so far. Wings up 1-0 They are inconsistent; they have stretches where they look like they can score at will, and stretches where they look lost. Trizzak
The 2nd last PK% versus the 2nd best PP% went about as you'd expect.
DON
That's better. 1-1 Wings-Lsles
Trizzak
Good for Carr. I hope Julien and Bergevin see him on the 4th line next season over most of the other options.

Trizzak
Wings lose in OT, but the Habs would hold the tiebreaker if they got 2 points tonight against the Leafs.
DON
Big Mikey (in his last game ever with Habs) is really helping the cause. Thanks Mike, 3-1 should do it.
Trizzak
Chicago loses, so the Habs will have their 2nd round pick at either 37th or 38th OA depending on if Edmonton gets a point later tonight.
sbhatt
Now have to hope for a Coyotes miracle vs. Ducks

Trizzak
Regulation loss confirms a 28th or 29th OA finish. Arizona is currently down 1 - 0 going into the 2nd.
