I can't wait!

I was hoping Higgins would play, but i guess i'll have to wait and other guys deserve a good look too.

I love all this competition.

It's what any management team wants!

I am ready to see what our regulars can do against "Oh My Sore Back" Belfour on RDS. 55 shots on net would be nice against him :o I was impressed with Montreal's speed last game against the team that has not won since 1967. I was not impressed with the line changes and long shifts though.:wall::wall::wall:

Better execution and chemistry to get the team ready for the regular season would be a great start.

I appreciate the work in providing the lineups in these posts Spider-Man.

Go habs Go!... lol.

Crap, finally a televised game and I'm most likely going to miss it... BAH!

Yea, gonna be another big thread tomorrow I'm sure. Then again, with most watching instead of just listening, most fans might be away from their computers this time.

Except for Hossa which played 3 games, the forwards H. P. and P. all played 2 games. None as played bellow expectations and Hossa as played beyong expectations boosting Bonk's and Latendresse's production in the process.

In his two games, Higgins was for me, unlike many other prospects, easier to spot as there is energie and purpose whenever he is on the ice, he never look lost, hesitant and move rather fast as well,...style wise, he might be a cross of Koivu and Begin without sharing the extreme of what both are being defined for,.. he also share their focus and team spirit.... and comes in a weightier and taller package as well.

This player will be here for a long, long time.

Yea, I'm sure you'll get to the 1000 post mark today ...;)

BTW. I say 4-1 HABS, with some goals from the KKZ line.

I think Howie Meeker's dead but i might be wrong. I'm so starved for the sight of my habs on TV i would gratefully watch a telecast with analysis by Howie and colour from Harold Ballard. Come to think of it they might even be less biased than Bob Cole.

Ah how I miss Dick Irving and Danny Gallivan from the days of my mis-spent youth. :)

I watched the last game on Leafs TV with the volume off and CJAD on internet radio. Kind of funny watching the play then going to commercial while the play is still going on internet radio. Now that is time delay.

Looking forward to RDS tonight. Regulars in, better shifts and less line juggling shall make this interesting. Giving RDS my money and time instead of CBC is a much better investment as a habs fan. :hlogo:

Colour from Harold Ballard is very accurate. He was quite a colourful character. A jerk but certainly a colourful one. For any Leafs-hater, he was about the 'best' thing ever to happen to that team. That is unfortunate because before him, the team had a good history with LOTS of good stories behind them.

Me, I grew up with René Lecavalier. What an erudite, humble and beloved announcer he was. He was as close to a movie star in hockey as one could get. He had the charm and stateliness of a Cary Grant. Very appealing to watch and listen to.

Anyways, time for predictions...

Habs win 5-1

Kovalev

Plekanec

Bonk

Perezhogin (2)

Go Habs Go :D

Plekanec & Perezhogin, that would be nice. Another indication that this team has a nice deep pool of forwards.
