Dutch_Habs_Fan
I was wondering if there is already snow in Montreal. (i know spain was already before us, so Denis Savard already had his part of snow)Normally in Holland we have very poor winters with not much snow. But today we got hit by a winterstorm. (for dutch meanings ). Whole traffic was jammed in Holland and it took me 2,5 hours for 15 KM. And i almost made it, but my car got stuck! Everytime there is a lot of snow in Holland, everything is jammed and we have a lot of problems. We aint used to it. Busiest evening traffic ever in Holland, a lot of people are stuck the whole day in traffic. They get blankets and hot drinks from the police. They are trying to make a lane free on the interstate on police escort. Trains are out. And some cities don't have electricity. Busses are also out, and in the middle of the country there is a crisis centre! [Edited on 2005/11/25 by Dutch_Habs_Fan]
JLP
I dunno about Montreal this year but in Tokyo when we get like one centimeter of snow, all the taxi drivers put chains on their tires!
Psycing
Yeap, we've got snow in Montreal already ... quite happy about it too, cuz it means the out-door rinks will be ready for business soon!
jetsniper
Damn you! It's been an average of 10 degrees just about everyday. 14 yesterday. Theres a hockey rink pretty close here, I can see it from my bedroom. About a 30 second walk. But you can't make ice in 10 degree weather. Dammit! Denis Savard
This photo is for our Dutch fried. This weekend in Spain a winterstorm too, but only in the north and the center of the country, here in the mediterranean cost the day is sunny and now there is 14ºC, a little cold for us at this hour(12:45 PM). Pray for the sun, Dutch Fan
Dutch_Habs_Fan
Yeah we had some 40 cm's of snow here. They say we get another 30 cm. Very exceptional for Holland. Some places don't have snow and there is sun. So strange, and that for a small country as Holland, so much difference. Ah i like it, it's fun. Was in the groceryshop this afternoon and we're getting out of food. A lot of tree's fell down and lost branches, a lot of damage. But the world looks in peace right now

No bike our car, they are useless. Getting somewhere means walking. So to get to my friends for some good turkish Dönner Kebab means walking. We had to get it ourselfs, delivery was out After that we went into town to the pub. First time i walked to town for some party there. I could use some more snow tomorrow so i'm free on monday. But you'll see, work goes on!

bombTHEice
We just got another metre of snow last night, it's a real chaos over here. Ok, it's normal when you're living in the Alps but this year it's an awesome winter with tons of snow. I hope that the snowing stops and I can go skiing at the weekend. Powder, sun and ski bunnies ...

Dutch_Habs_Fan
i saw it on the news, in south Germany it's chaos. Buildings collapsing under the snow. So in the czech rep. an Austria it's the same. My god what a lot of snow, we got nothing. Oh well, can't wait for spring. Tired of this weather! Dutch_Habs_Fan
No snow in the Netherlands? It's snowing overhere! No we got nothing! I like snow, and i like winter when it's below zero. But the winter we have lately i hate. NO snow, temperture around zero, and a lot of rain. But since years i skated on real ice a couple of weeks ago, that was kinda nice. Bring on the snow, or bring on spring.
dark_faerie87
Absolutely no snow at all this year over in British Columbia. Very disappointing.
JMMR
BC is not even Canada you guys have spring not winter.
shortcat1
In Sudbury, there's a lot of snow. The snow banks are so high that we have to back into our driveways so as to be able to come out of them again without risking having the back half of our cars taken off by oncoming vehicles. We can't see the streets whatsoever. The Canadian Weather Network says we have more coming this weekend. Yeah! :puke:
simonus
report from the island nation of Indiana. like 2 degrees today, we had like 5cm of snow about a month ago, nothing that has stuck since then.
dark_faerie87
BC is not even Canada you guys have spring not winter. I suppose that's true. We were a few days shy of setting a new record for consecutive days of rain...
