Any show that has a bunch of internet sites, videos on youtube and server files dedicated to it's story definitely shows a lot of time and care has been put into it. Girls tend to be very clique oriented, espeically teenage girls. The ones hosting the parties generally aren't friends with the smart crowd, thus the smart crowd isn't invited to the parties.
