A couple years ago i had a quick connection and my suitcase couldn't get transfered in time, so I only had my backpack with me, and US customs (??) in Detroit picked me out of the line to check on me. Plus anyone with an accent is deemed a threat. Customs in Vancouver thought I was a drug smuggler, I got searched, body searched, they went through all my stuff. Good times.
