DON
Outshot them 50-23, didn't think it was that far apart. Penalty Kill had poor outing 0-3, but Habs PP gets 3 also. AND the big stat Galchenyuk 18:43 icetime.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
This was the true slump-busting game IMHO. The team looked into the abyss in the third period and, led by Gallagher and Shaw, chose to will itself not to fall. They can build on this one to go on a nice run and grind their way back into the playoff picture. A very entertaining hockey game. I'm no Shaw fan, but he definitely delivered guts, leadership, and goals last night. Gallagher is another order of player, because I believe he can continue playing like this (at least until his next inevitable injury), whereas Shaw is not capable of sustaining this level over more than short bursts. Very ominous discussion in the intermission., with Kypreos saying that it is indeed Price's Knee and the other guy noting that, in response to questions about their level of interest in Price, other GMs are leery because of his health. Clearly there is a belief around the league that Price - the franchise cornerstone - may be damaged goods, looking at a future marred by recurring injury. DON
Dr. Kypreos eh? Still not sure why Pacioretty wasn't called for interference in OT?

Send him back to Laval and get Holland or Carr up. ... so we can have a 4th line that's still useless? If we're going to play 4th lines that do nothing on the scoresheet, at least McCarron gives the team a different look out there as a physical presence on a team that sorely lacks it. But Carr and Holland both producing in Laval and would add more than Mikey does. Holland had a hat trick and assist yesterday.

So there is a threat to do something shen they are on the ice instead of get dominated in possession and take a penalty
