Let’s see if they can sustain this.

alfredoh2009
Didn't watch the game, but based on comments here it seems th team just hung on and that Prixe stole the win. if that's the case, I am glad they are still playing better than .500 without Weber. This team will get better, and unfortunately, will not pick top 10 in 2019's draft. But it will be fun to watch
Habopotamus
Good to see Price find his game last night. Does Mueller still run the power play?
DON
43 saves, sweet. 4th in the East Kotkaniemi tied 4th in rookie scoring. Will Juulsen end up with more than 25pts this year? Petry career average 27pts/82gms, is on pace for 60pts. Will he end up with more than last year's total, 42pts?
Easy Ryder
Shaw speed was very good in that game. After Boston game pretty much everyone was ok to leave him as 13th player. Now 13 92 and 64 looks goood. If he can keep it up it rises his trade value. And he wins face off. Thumbs up

Thumbs up I get why you would want to maximize your assets and get the most for older players in trades, not hat he's old, but why does everyone want to get rid of a player when he starts excelling in Montreal? So far we should trade Petry, Shaw, Byron, Tatar, etc. Seems like a good group of players to just dump away for picks and prospects at this stage. Wouldn't a more pragmatic approach be to hope that the team plays well, can make a run in the playoffs and that Shaw is big contributor in the teams success along with the other players that are over 22?

Can't talk for Easy Ryder , but in my case there are two reasons: *) it is time that the CH drafts talent and builds through the draft a strong core of a cup contending team instead of a "get to the playoffs and hope for the best" *) the same way we maximized Pacioretty and Plekanec ( and missed doing for Markov and others) the CH needs to manage assets ahead of the expansion draft and with regard to winning a cup. Enough of having a myriad 3rd line wingers that play "big" but score little The CH still needs a top pair point producing LD. Trading some of the 27+ year old players to get that makes some sense Edited November 17, 2018 by alfredoh2009 Added a bit more to initial reply
