  3. Sure wish that Pacioretty could score more goals... but without that prima donna d-man, he just cant and is only on a 44g pace..

  5. So, we can score when we cheat apparently (high stick, using hand)...too bad these damn refs are paying attention.

  7. Another dazzling offensive display of hockey. Burn this roster down, everyone should be available.

  8. This team can not score in transition, when was the last time they scored off the rush. Pacioretty used to score off the rush, and get breakaways all the time. It doesn't happen now. If you don't think switching Subban (who had more assists on Pacioretty goals than any other player, including forwards)... for Weber (who has done near nothing 5v5) makes a difference there, I don't know what to say. Its not just Pacioretty though, Galchenyuk scored a bunch off the rush. So did Gallagher, and Plekanec, and others too. But the pairing who plays the biggest minutes for the team has no puck moving and transition.

  9. I really wish we woukd stop talking about trading Galchenyuk. Such a trade is 99% likely to be stupid by definition. No offence to anyone. But trading our only offensively talented C makes absolutely ZERO sense.

  10. No kidding. The team created an aching need for a top-4 puck-mover whike solving exactly zero problems with that trade. However, too many Habs fans simply refuse to face the reality that the trade was stupid. It's too painful to accept, especially for a franchise with a history of chronically losing every blockbuster trade it makes. That being said, the team played a strong game against the Rags. Climbing out of a slump, and getting rid of the bad habits and low confidence left over from Therrien, will be an uneven process. Let's not over-react to this one game.

  11. Bergevin has to do something.. Anything...

  12. We've been hurting for forwards since Bergevin got hired, and what's worse is that was true with Plekanec and DD going full bore. Getting Petry at the deadline was a big mistake, and even now the motto is "you can never have enough defensemen." 3 goals in 3 games under Julien.
