  1. !!!!! well I guess it was HIS party yesterday, He will cry if He wants too, cry if He wants, You would too if... I guess we loose Plecks! But no worries I will be on the parade route crying too!!!!!!!! Sorry if it offends you or others but that was funny
  2. i like the idea of working OT to sign Plecks. on the other hand why not just loose Halak to another team that signs him for mo money ? we will get a tone of picks and maybe just maybe they will pan into great player(s) Halak is an RFA other then to move him in order to grant his wish to be moved, I have no probs on just sitting on his value. Sorry Halak if you are reading this but the team before you bud. GO! :hlogo: GO!
  3. may I add that them same kids wash they mouths with soap 24 time and 1 more time just for good measure!!!!! GO! :hlogo: GO! GET GET GET POSER FANS!!!! *edit: btw did we have at one point a ro'a'ster full of 1st round picks in the 90's that didn't do nothing other then look like they had a chance on paper to contend?? the year is behond my grasp but I think that if NJ, Detroit and at one point Dallas are able to draft well then there is no reason the Habs can't either. Drafting high is fine but some time the best player in a given position drafted has to suit the need of the team in the imidiate. I understand that because we drafted McDo we were able to finalize the trade for Gomer... but would Gomer been such a need if we would have drafter (insert name here)?? All these questions will be answered one way or another with the help who ever reads this and that is cool cuz the one thing that holds true about the Habs other then they RULE(!), they ain't boring and the fans (most off them) know what hockey is all about I love my Habs and on draft day I look like a kid on X-mas morn (as a kid I did not celebrate) or so I'm told I do. When we draft a kid like what Gui did in his first camp it's like I'm still playing with the toy I got in Dec. in the month of Oct.
  4. Markov is BACK!!! http://www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/hockey/20...ient-au-jeu.php **edit: ok I'm 5 hrs latebut MARKKOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVV ISSSSSSSSSSS BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
  5. I clap to Laps with Max-Pac and Moen. Plenty grit on that line with the duo mentality on O Martin seems to preach. Sounds good I would like to comment Pouliot but I will wait the habitual 20 to 30 game eval. cuz other wise it ain't fair, right but yeah... more time... more better when it comes to SK and Gomer... for now
  6. I don't agree. SK and Gomer are getting to know each other better and better on ice habits every game. SK has been playing *well* and Gomez is getting *better* on O. I think this way SK also feels he is getting a real shot and that will and must have helped his game. Gomez will awake and I think that will be soner rather then later. That little Chicano has alot of pride and I think he will pay himself an a$$ kicker before an a$$ kisser. + if we want a well balanced offensive punch then IMO there is no way we can take away this *dating* time SK and Gomer need before the return of Gio. GO! :hlogo: GO!
  7. F. Gagnon said he is ready for action, see article: http://www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/hockey/ln...u-vestiaire.php GO :hlogo: GO!!!!
  8. I think another side of this move that needs a little attention can be viewed as: Can we get him for peanuts (or for something reasonable, note of bad e.g.: Pens in the Hossa move) and keep him like Calgary did with Bowmister (many apologies for my many mistakes in speling) ? Cuz IF as a player he wants: to play for a cup contending team, well honestly HE would make us a legit one (once Markov is back And Gionta AND...) a team with a winning tradition... or crazy attention on his game.... or the treatment off a (add name of your hero here)... or want to live in a city that rival some of the best city's in Europe AND in N.A. (please don't forget there is always an exeption that makes this last statement a rule. )... and I honestly believe the list can go on; then he will not be better served then here in La Ville C'est Hockey I will chose to not reserve the same attention to the 'negatives' cuz I think most off it is just bull (french is my fourth language and yeah it took me 5 almost 6 years to understand but...), like I said earlier IF as a player he wants... then he must just come to the realization that most of the 'negatives' are just the realities of having all the things he wants as a player AND the most important part: :hlogo: RULE! So long post short... This move has alot of monatary issues that would need to be settled and value of assets to be dettermined on both sides and agreed upon as exchangeble as fair, in addition to all the queries about nego right pre-trade. As some of my previous posters believe this last asset move (cuz love or hate it this is an asset the opposing team has) can be a deal buster. I think we should try to use it as a token to lower assets going their way (as Calgary did) before the trade. As to post trade well that is a whole other ball game, again the cap space and whole wack of things come in play. Since someone (sorry I do not remember your name) mentioned that we are not cup contenders this year (you should wash your mouth with soap 24 times and rince only with your saliva, kid) then I would like you to remember the the laffs are maybe overnight loosers but they have been working hard at staying that way and for that we should ALL keep laughing at them, and as such MY HABS are cup contenders every year even if Mario Tremblay is behind the bench and Peanut is GM and we get @$$ hair for St. Pat (and YES I still think that we should put an * next to his number up there in the temple, just incase there is one day a player like the GREAT Mario Lemieux OR Bobby Orr that would like the number 33 to give without asking. I'm not saying don't let it hang up there just put an *. Dude, he quit! His words, period for me). HE would make us cup contenders as soon as Markov is back and we manage to have a little miracle in the progression of some kid(s) somewhere, cuz we are gonna have some whole(s) somewhere if not just to welcome his salary. Kovalchuck is a player that would make any team better and if Mr Bob can pull the trigger on him, I am 100% sure he is thinking how to get him to stay after july1st, I just hope tht his plan works. As we have seen in resent past (supposedly: Lecavalier this past summer) there are a multitude of factors that can mess a deal up(Didn't Nylander's wife kill the deal in EDM after it was sgned? And now she wants to go to Russia or is it him? where it's cool too I might add). I trust Bob and I for one would love to be at the table where the speaker phone is at but NO f@#$en' way I want to be Bob, for this deal. I would ask Waddel (is it?) what it was that bust the long term deal there for sure too before I sign anywhere, CUZ you know that there is something funny that happened to bust the long term deal there... And that was my humble opinion/question/comment... ohh s&?% I'm all cnfused now
  9. on your thoughts 80's hockey all over again... refs don't call nothing on kids and 'star' players don't get suspended. it's all farce :puke: I will stand in the line with Bar, refs should be held up against the Habs media... imagine if that took some of the attention off the team just for a sec... ahhh... ohh... I think I best go back to my present utopic world and get my seat ready cuz 25 is comming baby!!!!!
  10. I will start with to you Chicoutimi Cucumber and BCHabnut. good points from the two of youz, very fun to read yet I feel most fans just want this team to go now, I think most of us have put skates on and if not played some ball hockey, and we all here at HW truly know what GO! is about. In other words: I really don't care if it is SK74 up, or AK46 who starts to remember that he isn't who ever he thinks he is on the ice, OR ... Come on GUYS (on the ice)! GO THE F%$# ALREADY!!!!! I think the term they used on the ice last year was: are you alive? Can we now change it to: GO TIME (RAH! RAH!! RAH!!!) ? and if we do... PLEASE some one tell them (on the ice) remove the: ?, at the end of the chant GO! :hlogo: GO!
  11. this is sour topic for me and I will try to say my peace without offending orbeeing (very though for me as I am rude to even my loved ones). 1) this guy had the chance to sign witrh us this past summer and he opted to stay in the land of black bread and heart warming patato water. 2) I could not care less that he is playing for his father (Ass Coach, and I do mean A$$ cuz he, the father, did not say tell him, the son, the truth, KHL is a good league BUT the better league is the NHL, this is my op and I would mostlikly hold it till the day I die. It can change if the Stanley Cup is won only in the KHL :puke: ) if he wants to play with men in a REAL league then his a$$ should at the very least should already be in Hamilton were the rink is small but your balls need to be BIG to play. 3) I AM PISSED!!!!!! Until he shows that he is able/willing to play with MEN and get his bad self here in N.Am I will keep being pissed everytime I will see/hear his name. He can keep his a$$ out there if he wants to be a cry baby about this and that, we do not need another SK74, nor a Perezhogin or a Valentenko, good thing the last one help us get Gommer. Now only if he can start acting like a mini Hummer and get back in the traffick we will be fine with that last trade. 4) This is my last point: HOLY F%$# DO i WISH TO SEE HIM IN A HABS UNI SOON. BTW: can't give him 3 mil a season, he still counts as a rookie if I'm not mistaken. If BGL, Mara and Gill can get the sal that they do then then hell give this kid a piece on the moon too. I saw some choice land for sale there just last week I bet that even if there is water just found there the price is still low
  12. :hlogo: I will not say anything else Kozed you were right 4-3
  13. Is anyone looking? cuz I would trade blind on that one. Don't think for a sec that I bash the (good) brothers, I would do that trade eyes shut and I believe that they both would, can and (likly) be good if not great players one day (to some they, one of them already is, are). how do you like my 2 cents on the fence?
  14. Thank you! go :hlogo: go In Bob I trust
  15. He needs to go to the net YES, HE needs to go crashing into the corners TOO and HE needs to NOT GIVE UP the F%^&'N puck to the other team every time he has it on HIS F!@#'N stick. but then again I am the one (a$$%o!&) that can't break on skates and crashes into everyone (sometimes team mates too) and when I play ball hockey you better not touch the ball (if you play on the other team) CUZ IT's MINE guy on the team, so what do I know? I know: GO :hlogo: GO
  16. Thanks man, that was spot on, I like the way you keep your cool as you explained it to me I guess if I didn't have him (Sergei) in my pool I would MAYBE have had your Gainey like cool and figured it out. Are you Bob Gainey??? Cuz you shure do a GREAT immitation, do you have your halloween cosytume figured for next year... if not I have a good one for you
  17. can someone PLEASE tell me what is up with Sergei Kos. ????????? like fe real I miss the guy that showed up at the rink last year
  18. Colin, I thaught you were being sarcastic, but holy SHNICKYS I never would have expected such a reaction by some of the peeps here. btw I am sorry too for offending, BUT I must thank Colin for the great laugh
  19. does is this mean I'll be the band wagon AGAIN, people jumping on and off me??? I don't mind with chick fans but come on guys loose some weight, or at least give me a back my two four of Stanleys
  20. Man why did you have to be so right now I have to agree his # should be retired (your thaughts have been conved with great passion and great truth. I thank you for it ), AND yet I must curse my pride that tells me let's put anasterix next to the #. So just incase someone wants to wear the # we don't need to ask Pat if it's okay. That someone to me would have to be Mario Lemieux, or someone like, ya know, that would make me disfigure the banner a little. I'm not tring to be a smart a**, it's just that: like our national Pride King have alot of pride. I for this team. Just as all on this site that write in and ones that don't, I have my priceless story/memory(mine revolves around the 86 cup and my great uncle, may he RIP). This TEAM, MY HABS are the reason for this joy in my life. My pride will never allow me to fully accept #33 hanging off the rafters. And again thanks to you: The Chicoutimi Cucumber I will have space on my tatooed heart to understand the worth and value of that banner (IF ever), But most importantly I am still safe from becoming something far worse then someone that disagrees like a bitter old man: A LAFFS FAN And again I truely and sincerly apologise to any and all that are offended by these sentiments of mine, that is not my point.
  21. I agree that all the stats are there to back your and everyone else that agree with you, YET with sorrow/anger I disagree (very strongly) with the possibility of retiring St. Pat's number (check my all time fav Habs). The LONE reason for that is the way/moment he asked to get traded. He did not have to go up to Corey then at that moment, HE could have faked an being injured and stayed home till the HABS got a real deal for him. Fine wanna leave... don't let the door knob get stuck up y...., but if the fans ment anything to you. YOU gotta let the office peeps do their thing, EVEN IF THEY ARE BBBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR IDIOTS then you. Sorry if I offend anyone of ya'll, my heart is still broken from that ordeal and I really mean that fe real.
  22. thanks for validating my rumor I now feel like Eklund
