  1. Anderson's back!! Praise the hockey gods!
  2. Anderson is no longer on the bench...please, please, please let it me a problem with his equipment! Nice to see Romanov Score!!!
  3. Let's not forget that he's been asked to play on his off side. It's gonna take him a while to adjust! New team, new line mates and new position!
  4. I have to say that I agree about Armia. Sucks to see him so clueless out there after two games...then again, it's only been two games. I think we can give him 5 games to get his game together!
  5. I LOVE what i'm seeing from this team! Petry and Tuna with 2 goals each! Gallagher and Danault with 2 assists each! Carey making a few awesome saves! Lovin' it! But what I loved the most about this game, our boys shut down both Draisaitl and McDavid. Well done boys!
  6. I don't think that would work in terms of salary. Too much salary coming in and not enough going back to Columbus. What about KK, Drouin and a 2nd rounder...would that be enough to get Columbus to say yes!?!?
  7. I completely disagree with you on this one. No way does a package including Drouin and Danault (and any two other prospects in the farm system) get the deal done. Columbus will ask for Suzuki or K.K. for sure. We'll just have to agree to disagree!
  8. I agree that I don't want to see KK go, but you can be sure Columbus is not going to accept anything from us if one of Suzuki or KK are not included in the deal. Let's not forget that PLD is only 22 years old. It's not like he's old and unlike KK, had last year been a full 82 game season, PLD would have three 20-goal seasons under his belt.
  9. Anything involving Suzuki or Romanov should be a non starter!
  10. I was thinking the same thing. To get PLD outta Columbus is gonna cost us alot! KK, Caufield and Byron?? Would that do it? If not, i'd be willing to throw in a 2nd rounder as well...maybe even a 1st rounder. In terms of cap space, we would be sending about 4.2 million in salary to Columbus and we'd be taking on PLD's 5 million$
  11. Really? I thought it was a bad luck play on the tying goal. Had it not hit the ref, there wouldn't have been a goal. Also, Drouin did get two assists in this game...I wouldn't qualify that as a POS, but that's just me. Don't get me wrong, never been a huge fan of Drouin, but i thought he played a decent game yesterday, that's why i'm a little surprised by your assessment of his game last night!
  12. Jezus ######ing christ!!! a 2 minute 5 on 3. We had them in the ropes and then they starting taking penalties!
  13. I don't know about you guys, but 35 minutes into this game, and I LOVE what i'm seeing from the boys! Anderson is everything I was hoping for, Suzuki picked up where he left off in the playoffs, Drouin seems to have a quickness in his game that we hadn't seen before, KK is playing just as well as Suzuki and the fact that he's had more than a year to adapt to the extra weight he put on, you can tell he's more comfortable in his body! Romanov, his first game in teh NHL, and you'd think he's a veteran. (although he did make a small mistake, but without consequence) and lastly, Carey is just as amazing as this summer. Maybe this is the return of the Carey Price we were used to 3-4 years ago!?
  14. 56 games 32 Wins 18 Losses 4 OTL 2 SOL 70 points 2nd in North 8th in League 180 goals for 144 goals against Habs make third round of playoffs
  15. I have to say I'm really looking forward to this season. For the first time in MANY years, I feel like we have a pretty damn good team that could go far. I really hope that Anderson and Suzuki will have chemistry together and that Romanov can adjust to the NHL.
  16. I think this signing has alot to do with Seattle. Also, I believe that if we need to trade Allen 12 or 18 months from now, at 2.75 million, it shouldn't be too difficult!
  17. So happy this signing has been taken care of. As many have mentioned, Gallagher is the heart of this team. All the sacrifices he's done over the years for the Team, is why the Habs gave him the extra 500,000$ per year. (I thought he was worth about 6 million per year). Paying him 6.5 is a little more than what I expected, but if there's on guy who's worth it, it's Gally. I also love the fact that this isn't a 7 or 8 year term. I love Gally, but I have a feeling he might not be very usefull by the time he's 35 years old! ON a different note, I have to give a two thumbs up to the work Bergevin has done this off-season. All of his signings were good and he addressed all the needs the Habs had! Well Done MB!
  18. I agree with the opening statement! Bergevin has done his job. It's up to the coaching staff and the players now!
  19. Seeing that video with all of Toffoli's goals last year, makes me like this signing even more. He's got good hands around the net and a very good backhand shot!
  20. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by this signing. I love the added grit that Toffoli brings, without forgetting that he can score 20+ goals per season!
  21. ON the 4th line, that could be interesting. Even though Perry is slow as a turtle, he does go to the net and has a nasty side to him!
  22. True, Although I don't think that Bergevin overpaid by alot. Maybe 500K per year... To get a player that has the size, speed, grit and skill that Anderson has, I think is well worth it!
  23. Agreed! Imagine Anderson with some quality passers (Drouin and Suzuki). He might light it up (35+ goals!)
