Elliotte Friedman tweet: Michael McNiven (MON) settle: $750K NHL/$100K AHL/$110K guarantee

Lehkonen has re-signed - one-year, $2.3M. It's slightly below last year's cap hit but still above his qualifying offer. http://www.habsworld.net/2021/07/habs-re-sign-artturi-lehkonen/

Breaking Savard to MTL 4 x3.5M Very do-able... Same as Chiarot and Edmundson
-
1 year, two-way deal. http://www.habsworld.net/2021/07/habs-sign-jean-sebastien-dea/

Laval's enforcer will be back for next season as Brandon Baddock got a one-year, two-way deal from the Habs. I'm okay with him returning but I was hoping they could convince him to take an AHL contract as there would have to be a ton of injuries for him to get a shot at being recalled. https://www.habsworld.net/2021/06/habs-re-sign-brandon-baddock/

1 year, 2 way contract, $750 000 Just putting this here for posterity purposes since depth signings appear to be taking an aggressive backseat to playoff hockey discussion for some reason 🙄
-
Lukas Vejdemo was set to be a Group VI UFA but instead has re-signed with the Habs. One-year for the minimum in the NHL. https://www.habsworld.net/2021/06/habs-re-sign-lukas-vejdemo-2/

A well earned contract for Lavalagher.
-
Contract starts this year instead of next. Goal Caufield, let's gooooooooo!
-
1 year, $750,000

Very much a Bergevin kinda player

https://www.tsn.ca/montreal-canadiens-sign-defenceman-kaiden-guhle-to-three-year-entry-level-contract-1.1541282 With Guhle signed, I expect they will invite him to camp unless he is prepping for/involved in the WJHC ... NORMALLY, teams cannot send CHL players to the AHL ... but ***IF*** the WHL plans to start in January fall through and there is nowhere for him to play CHL hockey it would seem to be logical to implement an exception for the 2020/21 season (I'm still calling it that as saying 2021 season technically overlaps with what will hopefully be a more normal 21/22 season).

Just in Gallagher signed 6.5mil over 6 years. What's everyone's thoughts. Think this means Byron will be moved for cap space and Tatar won't be back.
-
4 years, $3.5 million AAV, 10 team M-NTC
-
Make or break year for Juulsen. Hopefully he stays healthy and makes up for lost time.

Well does Bergevin sign anyone our is he done? Our line up as of right now Drouin / Suzuki / Anderson Tatar / Danault / Gallagher Lehkonen / Kotkaniemi / Armia Hudon / Evans / Byron Extra -- Weal / Poehling Chiarot / Weber Romanov / Petry Edmundson / Kulak Extra--- Mete Price Allen So this is what we're looking at come spring training. Does Bergevin add to this or is he pretty much done. i am hoping he adds Dadonov to the mix. He would look good on that 3rd line Dadonov / Kotkaniemi / Armia Then 4th line would be Lehkonen / Evans / Byron Pretty much all 4 lines can score .
-
One Year at $735,000 Pretty cheap deal for him. Good signing. Does he have a spot in the lineup however?
-
Jeff Petry resigns for 4 more years at 6.25 per year. NMC. Habs re-sign Petry to four-year extension https://www.tsn.ca/1.1529841.1601057376

While he played well in limited action in Laval, I'm a little surprised that the Habs gave him an NHL contract. https://www.habsworld.net/2020/09/habs-re-sign-jake-lucchini/

2 years, $750 000 aav.
-
1 year, $700K/$105K. http://www.habsworld.net/2020/09/habs-re-sign-lukas-vejdemo/ There will probably be more news about him soon as there are two Allsvenskan teams trying to get him on loan to start their upcoming season.
