Nice to see the D make a hit on a player trying to cross Habs blue line. Dumping the puck in when you're going for a line change is the safest play. Going 1on2 or 3 or 4 is a bad idea, as it will just lead to turnovers. If you have someone who's still fresh, then dump it in and have him forecheck until the other line comes on. Otherwise you just dump it in and get the change. You can't risk a turnover with a tired player on the ice, or even worse, a turnover on a bad change, just because you want one guy to try and beat two or more defenders. And shooting it in on the goalie is only worth it if you're trying from behind the red-line to negate the icing. Goalies are pretty quick nowadays, and they can glove a long one down and outlet to a defenceman before your line coming on knows what's happening. We go down either dump and chase or someone carries it in and we get a shot (or a shot near the net) and then teh pucks out of the zone.................. Price dove out to stop a low dump-in before it crossed the "no-play zone" and tried to fired it back out, but he ended up putting it right in the tape of a Panthers player at the blueline for the easy goal.
