brobin
watch as the habs pour it on for the tying goal and the whistles go away... there was a hold.. no call..
RobRock
i'd prefer it if the refs went away, for a long, long time
JLP
C'mon boys five min... Maxwell is my pick to tie it
RobRock
The absolute capper on this game, this is actually a pretty good period of hockey. If not for the first 40 penalties – oops, I mean minutes – this could have been a good game overall.
JLP
how much time did Samsonnov just have in the slot???

simonus
well that sucks, but I can't blame the guys. They did the best they could considering the situation.
brobin
Well.. as frustrated as i am with the habs.. they deserved better. They were the better team 5-5, but the canes could do no wrong and were given every chance to win this game. The fact that it was close is credit to the habs. habs rule
I thought the referees played an excellent game tonite. May ther stinking bones rest in hell.

johnnyhasbeen
What pisses me off the most is that this incompetent ref will not be reprimanded for this! What a joke the NHL has become! That was about 100 years back that the NHL became a joke. Always been this way, and never would happen to NYR or TML. Fact! Oh. Or Det for that matter!!!!' Always, always been that way. Deal with it. Oh, and by the way, we always found ways to win anyway!!! MFT77
Brutal reffing!! The Habs are also very frustrating to watch right now. They have trouble making a pass from tape to tape right now. On another note, Streit has 3 assists tonite for the Isles. Sure wish he was on the blueline instead of OB or the Cube right now. Cmon BG, even with Komi coming back, the Habs still need a d-man who can move the puck.
brobin
I have tickets to the rematch in Montreal in January.. I sure hope the boys get revenge...
JLP
Despite the reality of the awful reffing I hope Carbo isn't bitching about calls right now, i hope he's working on a new gameplan .
Colin
Despite the reality of the awful reffing I hope Carbo isn't bitching about calls right now, i hope he's working on a new gameplan . Agreed. Carbo needs to figure out how to win. If anyone should talk to the league, it should be Gainey. A public apology is about the best to be hoped for. In soccer that's what happens when a ref blows it viciously.
MMPL
MOTHER######ING REFS :puke: :puke: :puke: Burn in hell you bastrads. That one ref had only one game of experience and hadn't reffed since October of 2007. BRUTAL. Keep ######ing us over refs... Blast 'em Carbo
