lazy26
Giguère and no Price ... 4 Leafs but only 3 Caps? I had no idea that Toronto was stocked with such elite talent.
sakiqc
Plekanec not being there is insane. He is one of the most spectacular/intelligent/talented player in the NHL
lazy26
Plekanec not being there is insane. He is one of the most spectacular/intelligent/talented player in the NHL As much as I like Gionta, I think Pleks deserves to be on that list much more. It blows my mind that Semin was passed over, when Doan, Niemi and Vanek are on the list.
Dalhabs
YEAH! Price isnt on the list. Good for us, maybe a bit sad for him. No after allstargame breakdown this year for him.
BTH
It's hard to believe you can mess up that badly. No Semin, Plekanec and Price? They chose 18 goaltenders... Price should have been either the 1st or 2nd one selected. But he's not even on the list while Anderson, Fleury, Brodeur, etc.. are? The only possible answer is that the league feared that if Price and Plekanec (who deserve to be on the team) are on the ballot, the crazy Habs fans will make them locks to be on the starting roster. I guess they figured that since Cammalleri, Gionta and Markov don't deserve to be on the team, they can be on the ballot and won't get that many votes. They're trying to preemptively cancel out the extra Habs votes by leaving their 2 best candidates off the ballot. It might make sense for Pleks but Price actually would deserve to be the goalie with the most votes.
ForumGhost
The problem is is they decide too early who is on the ballot. Maybe this list made a bit more sense at the start of the year, but it's almost December now and Price is tied for the most wins and most shut-outs. dlbalr
First set of results are out, Price is 1st amongst goalies as it's quickly become evident that Montreal (and Philly) fans are in ballot stuffing mode already. Cammalleri and Subban are also top-10. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=544313&...vid=DL|NHL|home

He's going to need the rest, although I guess it's still possible he's selected. I say we send Darche.
