Easy Ryder
Looks like a line shake up at this morning skate. Source CKAC. Max Pacioretty - Tomas Plekanec - Brian Gionta Andrei Kostitsyn - Scott Gomez - Lars Eller Benoit Pouliot - David Desharnais - Mathieu Darche Travis Moen - Jeff Halpern - Tom Pyatt If it's true i like this. Gionta needs to rack points.
dlbalr
Those were the practice lines yesterday as well as the lines used late in the Philly game. It's rare seeing Gomez/Gionta split apart, I could easily see them reunited if these lines don't have a lot of success early on.
lazy26
I think Gionta put his best numbers of the year when paired with Pleks. As i've got him in a few pools, this is great news.

dlbalr
Washington's going with their Winter Classic jerseys tonight, if anyone's interested.
BTH
What's up with Semin? Not on the roster, injured or scratched?
illWill
Habs win 2-1, Pouliot with the winner and Price with 35+ saves
brobin
Well, that was a pretty weak goal to start the game...
JoeLassister
Easily the worst goal given by Price this season.
brobin
Wow.. If PK just did what Wiz did, he would be benched... and why does Hammer take a penalty AFTER the shot is away.... I guess they are still mentally in Mexico.
brobin
And now Pleks takes a hooking call.. oh never mind.. 2-0 Washington...

brobin
Oh nice, Pleks is in the box anyway... picking up right where they left off...
lazy26
Kinda glad I'm at work not catching this one. I guess it was too much to hope that the All-Star Break would end Montreal's tendency to fall behind early.
dlbalr
That wasn't a terrible period overall but the early goal and penalties put the Habs back big time. They have a PP to start the 2nd and looked good on both previous ones, pretty good opportunity here.
JoeLassister
As much as I think that he'll become a good dman, I think we just cannot overlook the tons of unprovoked mistakes he does in a short lap of time. I counted as many as 3 in the last 10 minutes of the first. I think he's very nervous out there.

brobin
Who? I hope you are not talking about PK.. I thought he was one of the better D tonight. He is making some great passes on the PP and is stepping around the blocks better. Hammer has been terrible tonight. As much as I think that he'll become a good dman, I think we just cannot overlook the tons of unprovoked mistakes he does in a short lap of time. I counted as many as 3 in the last 10 minutes of the first. I think he's very nervous out there.
brobin
Nice shot by Gionta and now a PP..lets see if we can get one here and be back in the game.
brobin
Hard to complain about the PP.. its been pretty good, they just can't get a bounce.
brobin
Two for gionta... still no assists for him...lol
dlbalr
None since December 7th according to the TSN broadcast...kind of reminiscent of Boyd down in Hamilton.
