Meller93
Can't wait for Saturday. The coach change makes bye week extra long
Commandant
Initial thoughts I have on the lines. 1) Chuck gets immediate opportunity to prove his value. This is his chance to prove to his new coach that he is a legit #1 C and play 18 minutes a night. 2) Plekanec is going to be leaned on in big situations. johnnyhasbeen
Wait, Desharnais is not the top C? Where's the love?

Trizzak
Despite his career year, I'm over Byron's stint in the top 6, tbh. Would be nice to get a legit 2nd line LWer and bump everyone down the depth chart.
Machine of Loving Grace
Flip Lehkonen and Byron and you get closer to what I've felt the lines should be.
THE Bobby Orr
i hope Lehkonen starts...Byron is fading which i believe everyone thought he would.. The lineup has just got better with T'it-Claude behind the bench. If social media is a good yardstick; this move has energized the fan base, and according to 690- the practise this morning was very upbeat. I think a line with Byron and Plekanec is going to be our key shutdown line. Byron is better defensively than Lehkonen by a LOT.
Guest Stogey24
Lehkonen has been invisible last little bit too.

Price had some interesting comments after practice, dosent seem too upset coach is gone at all and said was pretty pleased to hear they hired Julien. Supposedly Pateryn said "it was like someone was breathing down back of his neck all the time" and hard to keep confidence up when being sat for a bad play or two (which he has said before in the past also). DON
At end of practice, they noted it was just Muller and Julien out there having a good ol conversation. Muller seems to have lots of one on one on-ice post practice discussions with the players and now with New Coach also. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/claude-julien-holds-first-practice-back-in-montreal/c-286871812 Galchenyuk & Price after practice. https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/video/raw-alex-galchenyuk/t-277437414/c-49513203
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I'm pretty sure that Julien just needs time to realize that Plekanec is no longer the guy who burned the Bs on so many occasions past. Then we'll start to get hair pulling over the C position again.
