dlbalr
After a disappointing loss in Toronto, Laval returns home for a rematch against the Marlies. Scott Sabourin was suspended for his incident on the opening shift last game but it doesn't matter as the Maple Leafs called him up the day after the game anyway. (Lines are from last game and obviously will change with Sabourin out) Galchenyuk - Petan - Barabanov Kossila - Brooks - Anderson Chartier - Gaudet - Sabourin Clune - McMann Kivihalme - Liljegren Rubins - Hollowell McCourt - Duszak Hoefenmayer Woll (Lines are from last game) Harvey-Pinard - Weal - Ylonen Veilleux - Vejdemo - Belzile Blandisi - Poehling - Teasdale Pezzetta - Mysak - Lucchini Schueneman - Leskinen Bisson - Fleury Halbert - Brook Primeau Puck drop is at 7 PM and can be seen on RDS. tomh009
2-0 Laval after the first, on goals by Veilleux and Poehling (PPG). Shots 10-4 in favour.
DON
3-1 in 2nd with 3minutes left. Mysak with 1g(2)
tomh009
And that's all for the second. Marlies scored on the PP (Barabanov from Galchenyuk), Mysak's goal was unassisted. Shots 10-5 for Laval.

tomh009
It seems the Rocket decided to sit back in the third, with a two-goal lead, and it backfired: the Marlies scored three to take it to 4-4 and OT. Veilleux scored one for the good guys as they were outshot 12-4 in the final frame. No scoring in OT, shots 2-1 for Toronto. Shootout coming right up ... tomh009
... and Belzile scores in the shutout for the 5-4 win. McNiven keeps his net clean.
tomh009
You really didn't need to delete that -- simultaneous happens in the heat of the action! And the first OT/SO win for the Canadiens organization this year!

alfredoh2009
I missed the first two periods, How did Vejdemo play? I am hoping he get the call to center the fourth line if Evans needs to go to Laval to work on his game and reset his confidence. I prefer Poehling continues to improve at the AHL level, I am cointing on him to be the next Higgins (early career) next season

Joel Bouchard is a good development coach, I trust him I'm not a betting person either (the frustration of losing bet balances or exceeds for me the joy of winning one) ... but I do like a turn of phrase I also like JB, but what I've seen of Poehling on RDS this season is not encouraging ... there are hopeful moments but they are too often offset by poor or lacsidasical play (but to be fair, on TV one only sees what the camera shows you). Trizzak
No thread for today's game (Rocket currently up 2 - 1), but I needed to highlight this: #### it. Call up Baddock. Him and Perry on the same line will turn their centerman into a shithead just through osmosis.
tomh009
3-2 final for the Rocket, with goals by Weal, Teasdale and Poehling (PP). The Rocket is in clear second place and will take on the division-leading Stockton for four games starting from Thursday.
