DON
Just curious, has Leskinen been outplaying Fleury, aside from offense?

I heard on the last game broadcast that he has been the best Laval defenseman. Steady and good at both ends But I do not think that means automatically he has outplayed the others , radio announcers tend to exaggerate , specially the guy on 91.9 fm Edited March 28, 2021 by alfredoh2009
dlbalr
In the games I've seen, I haven't been as thrilled with Leskinen as some. He is definitely better than last year but I still don't think he's good enough in his own end to be even useful in Montreal. Today's lines: This will be Verbeek's first game of the season after being a healthy scratch/taxi squad fill-in for the previous 19 games. Or neither one would be worthwhile in a Habs sweater? Do they still have NHL upside? I am happy with Brooks but I see him as needing another season yet. I would say Leskinen has been better but neither are capable of coming up and playing any sort of meaningful minutes. Brook is doing well but I agree, I'd leave him down for the year. Yes, but I dont' see an NHLer Fleury has disappointed me. Brook I'd call up, but only if we needed a D, I'd like to leave him there for the year. alfredoh2009
Rocket ties it late in the 3rd period. Poehling and Verbeek!
alfredoh2009
Jordan Weal gives the lead to the Rocket. Moose has been giving crushing body checks all game, Mysak is gone, Ylonen too. A couple of fights didn't calm the play. Seems like the team decided to make the Moose pay on the score board
alfredoh2009
Penalty called against the Rocket with 2min to go. 6 against

tomh009
So, Ylonen and Mysak both injured today, adding to Belzile and Vejdemo. What's going on? Has anyone seen these plays?

I just heard them on the radio stream, Indo not think they were dirty hits, From what I heard they were hockey plays The Moose played them aggressively and finished their checks

They were definitely assisted though - just by Manitoba giveaways. Not often you see that many big mistakes in that short of a period.
