Tough night for Montembeault - they weren't all his fault but five goals on 22 shots isn't a great night at the office. IMO anyone who ***might possibly*** be considering trading for Hoffman knows he is a one-trick pony ... it's all a question of how badly they need that trick and how well they think Hoffman can still deliver it. Agree it was one of MB's worst contracts ... but I expect if not traded before then (not that I expect it, as I hope the extreme emphasis on ***might possibly*** conveyed) he will be a classic trade deadline move next season ... not for significant return, unless he has a great season.
