just wondering if my fellow :hlogo: fans are looking forward to it, or if this film looks like a bust to the habs nation. I know me and all my friends are looking forward to the film, but how about you guys(and girls)?

I saw it months ago, it was showing here in Montreal at the AMC. It's a good movie, you'll enjoy it.

Perhaps the DVD will make it to the states someday...

Looked it up on IMDB and found some interesting info about NHLers in the movie:

Sean Avery - Bob Dill

Vincent Lecavalier - Jean Beliveau (Almost no screen time, 2-10 seconds)

Ian Laperrier - Boum Boum Geoffrion

Mike Ricci - Elmer Lach (I heard quite a bit of screen time)

Stephane Quintal - Dollard St-Laurent

Philippe Sauve - Jim Henry

Just saw the trailer - looks amazing.

Don't like your chances of seeing the film? Maybe you'd like to spend some time in exile Down Under... :P

  • 3 weeks later...

went yesterday to watch the movie and what a great movie it was. I injoy it and sure makes you proud to have the Rocket as a habs, and proud for my self to be a habs fan.The movie was great and acknowledge him as a great player and leader, its also acknowledge most his achievements and records . The only thing they miss out on and should of been mentioned was the 50 gaols in 50 games which was unheard of back in the day. Besides that the rest was great. Mr Richard you are the greatest hockey player of all the time and the same time the greatest habs player of all time.A Must see.... :hlogo:

Sean Avery isn't really a racist; he's just an idiot who'll say anything to get some media attention or to get under somebody's skin.
