I'm ok with calling it while 5 on 5, but while on the PK a player is allowed to ice the puck without a problem, so why should they be penalized when they shoot it over the glass? Yea.. it's pretty stupid.. but I guess someone could say that the player would take advantage of it, and intentinally shoot the puck over the net. I guess we will see what the Habs are made of. kenadian Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 With regards to the delay of game penalty (Puck over the glass) the CBC announcers said the side glass is LOWER than OTHER RINKS Why doesn't the NHL standardize this? All the pucks are a certain size, nets, goal pads etc.... and even the ice surfaces, so WHY THE HELL ISN'T THE GLASS HEIGHTS....... It's actually an advantage for the Hurricanes D, since they go to other buildings (with HIGHER GLASS) and have no problems.....
