Topgun19
No thank-you.... I like Vertigo ... The place really rocks and you can feel the electricity after a Montreal Goal. By far the place to watch a game.... the Bell Centre.

Wow...I can't believe I am saying this but....I agree with Justintb!!!!! When they play vertigo, I swear it makes the place electric. The other song is ok, I remember it, but I like vertigo better. Besides, the OH OH OHHH song sounds like it belongs in a stupid friggin RDS Molson Ex commercial JMO Edited November 7, 2006 by cfposi
Athlétique.Canadien
The francophones are not going to like this but having Vertigo or U2 as the choice is very predictable. I find the French love European bands with a rythmic sound and strong vocals. For example: Supertramp is adored in Quebec and U2 is somewhat similar in sound and mixing. I like the 2002 song and will vote to bring it back. And, what difference does Vertigo make to indistinguish ourselves? I've heard Vertigo played in 6 or 7 other buildings during the warmup. It's not their goal song but I do hear it. And, why does the hockey universe have to always copy us? Day-o / banana boat is heard all across the league too. WHO STARTED DAY-O? WE DID! cfposi
In retrospect, I don't really care a whole lot about the post-goal song...cuz you can barely hear it over the cheering Habs fans . As long as they don't change the opening song (Fix You - Coldplay)...that song is friggin AWESOME! So inspiring!
