Fanpuck33
Will Habs fans condemn Ryder like they did Justin Williams? Of course not. It was an accident and deserves no condemnation, just like Williams.

shortcat1
No, he high sticked him in the eye... thank you... i didn't see that. by the way... the short-handed guys are skating around the bruins rather nicely... too bad it can't likely lead to two quick goals... Fanpuck33
players who use sticks are lazy, using a stick is lazy. :?- He was beaten to the puck, so he tried to lift the guy's stick. It's a typical play.
Pierre the Great
Its simple really. I never played hockey but I played football. I was a lineman. I had to get to this spot before the defensive guy got there and clear the area. If the defensive tackle got there before me what would I do? I'd grab and hold. Same thing in hockey, if you're being lazy you cheat your way to play catch up (holding stick etc etc). Beat the person to the corner or puck and viola! no need to use your stick. brobin
Well, shame, but defensive mistakes and some bad bounces did them in. The reffing sucked for sure, but in the end, the Bruins played like they wanted it more. Still, been a good stretch, happy holidays to all, and see you after Christmas for some Habs wins! Hockey's Greatest
I just got back. Missed the third but it seems I didn't miss much.
Pierre the Great
no your misunderstanding what I'm saying. Ryder was beat in the play so he used his stick to try to get ahead. Hence the football analogy of me getting beat by a defensive end and I resort to holding.
