The KHL season kicked off today.  Romanov was listed as the seventh d-man for CSKA but still managed to play 12:32.

Hes a 19 year old playing in a league where very few teenage defencemen play. 

 

We need him to be in north america so he can get serious AHL icetime next year

No.  Teenage d usually dont even play in the khl.

 

The fact this is his 2nd year in that league shows how good.he is.

6'0" 205lb obviously isnt huge for NHL d-man, but he does like to be physical. However he also is said to be hot headed and prone to retaliate. But, playing in NCAA will be huge difference from high school competition and am curious to see how well he adjusts.
