Great game by the Habs... they need to keep it up.

I do hope that this was a preview of the first-round playoffs match-up.

Of course they are 'allowed'...but when you put your key guys on the ice when it's meanigless, you are tempting fate and probably deserve to have bad juju roar up to bite you in the ass.

So they should have sent their AHL team out there?  Pulling the goalie at the end of the game is a part of playing to win throughout.

I don’t believe teams are morally obligated not to try to win just to make the Habs happy.

Even less do I believe star players should have their ‘heads taken off’ because the team the play for tries to win every game.

Is Sergachev a liability for the Lightning in the playoffs?  He seems to consistently have defensive lapses whenever I watch him play.

It wasn't a faux pax to pull the goalie and play his stars, bit it was risky. The best players on the ice against an amped up desperate opponent.  A bad hit to kucherov or Stamkos and they could be in trouble.

Columbus & Carolina slid Cooper a big cheque before the game, asking for him to pull out all stops to win.
