One of the reasons I want 3 points for a win is that I'm not a huge fan that some games are worth 3 points and some are worth 2. I'd like every game to result in the same number of total points awarded.1 point

Yeah, it would be nice to make one of those trades where you get a battleship for a couple of frigates but I think rebuilding teams are looking for quality rather than quantity.1 point

Montreal has 15 overtime games already and they haven't quite hit the midway mark of the season (that'll come tomorrow). That's a lot of games going past regulation but they've actually won nine of them. This is a point they stole though.1 point

For 2 years, sure. When we are serious about competing then either Monty must continue to improve to elite level (doubtful) or we will still need to upgrade to the 1b (maybe fowler or other prospect is a 1a/1b or more). Primeau can be a stop gap but i dont see him here long term still.1 point

Here's the problem - Anaheim doesn't need a d-man back if they're moving Zegras. They're the other team about as loaded on the back end as Montreal is in terms of prospects. I think they'd want a young impactful forward and I'm not sure there's a viable fit between who the Habs would give up and who the Ducks would want.1 point
