Struble and Roy were both papered down to keep them Laval-eligible. Assuming they'll both be recalled swiftly, that's 2 of 4 post-deadline regular recalls gone right there.

Ironically, it turns out that the Canes did us a favour with KK. Presumably, absent the offer sheet, we would have ended up signing him - maybe even locking him up for a number of years on the belief that he was going to grow into being a core piece. And we would have been signing a piece of crap. Yet another absolutely disastrous high pick by the pre-HuGo era Habs. Thank God Carolina is the team that finds itself dealing with the consequences.

Barron has been fine in Laval. The struggle mentionned above is massively overblown. The problem is that at this point and the amount of NHL games hes played, i want more than fine in the AHL.
