  2. You dont have to do anything at 30 or 32. You make the decision then. Gallagher is more beat up cause the style he plays as well. And none of that is a reason to pay extra by doing a bridge.

  3. Mikael Granlund feels like a reasonable fit although he's an undersized middleman. At 33, you're not looking at a super long-term deal and he can hold the 2C spot for a few years, allowing Hage time to ease in. He's more of a playmaker than scorer but if he has Demidov and Laine on his wings, playmaking should be the focus. The fact he can kill penalties also helps.

  4. True and Bennett will benefit from that and command a big premium. Certainly a great time for him to be a UFA, maybe his last opportunity for a really big contract.

  5. It would be a gamble considering he is almost 29 and his career best year until this year was 31 points. Maybe he is a late bloomer or maybe he is just having one of those years where everything goes in.
