Fanpuck33_
Sure, Kovalev isn't producing, but it's pointless to have him on a defensive line. I just don't get it. Oh well. Let's come out with some entusiasm and heart tonight!
puck7x
Huge game (do I even need to point this out?) for the habs... We win, and we've got a split of the first-2 games in Boston (acceptable) , we lose and we're down 0-2 going back to Montreal and our chances of winning the series are slim. Its important that we get off to a fast start tonight and dont let up for 60 minutes, we need to play our game... if we do that, we're a pretty hard team to beat. Most of all, I just want an effort from the team tonight... (and of course a win) :ghg:
sakiqc
That'd be good to see Yanic's back on the Saku's line. Also, that's a good thing to give Kovalev a 1st line player (Bulis) instead of Joe "don't give me the puck I'm dead" Juneau. Dowd is able to do the job. The job i mean everything.. he'll adapt. I don't see that line as a defensive line, but as another line who can score, and who will not get cought on their zone. Please Julien, bench Juneau, dress Perreault. What do you owe to Juneau? Do you want to throw your career to garbage like that?
Bonavistaman11
Sportsnet reported the Habs lineup wouldnt be changed, so is perreault on the top unit for sure??? Ok guys, is everybody else as confident as i am about Game 2?? I dont think theres any cahnce in hell that the boys well lose this game, Gainey said they looked like men against boys in game 1 and that definitely has to be a wakeup call for em!.... Komisarek Needs to play! :ghg:

I'm not going to go out and say that I am confident about the habs winning tonight, but I am confident that we will play better then we did in game-1 ... Who knows if we'll win though... DJ_Laszlo
I'm not too confident about tonights game anymore, after the last battle. This game is a have to win - otherwise I'm afraid we might as well pack our bags and head for the golf courses. We simply HAVE to get out of Boston with a tied series. :ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg::ghg:
simonus
btw - the game will also be aired on nesn (new england sports network - a very annoying place to watch habs games) and ESPN.
habsfan88
The habs key to success is alot of shots and alot of hitting. Yes, you can use ur speed against this team...but thats not all. HABS NEED TO BE PHYSICAL!!!
Prime Minister Koivu
Originally posted by Bonavistaman11Sportsnet reported the Habs lineup wouldnt be changed, so is perreault on the top unit for sure??? Komisarek Needs to play! :ghg: I hope to hell CJ makes some changes. Komi is a must, we need his size badly. Kovalev on the checking line is stupid. It would be better to just sit him and take him off the point on the pp. I hope the refs are better tonight as well. Alot of questionable calls in the first game. Souray took a couple that were just nuts. We need to answer the physical play. Well we need to do everything better tonight. Theo will be better. The loss was not his fault but he was not the super goalie he can be. 2-1 Habs :hlogo:
jl.roberts
CKAC is reportedly saying that Kovalev moves to the top line and Langdon is in. Saw it on another board.
sakiqc
Yes, confirmed by RDS: Habs confirmed Lineup: Kovalev - Koivu - Zednik Dagenais - Ribeiro - Ryder Bulis - Dowd - Ward Langdon - Begin - Juneau :ghg:
Bonavistaman11
Holy crap Kovalev on the top line, and Langdon is in!... Im really lookin forward to this game now....hopefully this is the night that Kovalev breaks out!. koivu has to break out tonight as well and make his chances count, i think he'll be full of intensity tonight! :ghg:
Habinator33
Kovalev must must must get 20 minutes of playing time on the top line and 1st line powerplay time he must get going for this team to have success. Habs must come out strong i knew that the bad streak at the end of the season was going to carry into the playoffs they played with no heart. Tonight we will see if Julien really is a top coach at the NHL lvl if these guys come out flying it's all because of him. He's gotta get this team pumped up and going and they need to find the intensity and heart they played with just before that losing streak. If they don't come out flying in the 1st period i know this sounds stupid but i'm praying that a boston player takes a cheap shot at one of the habs and hurts him for a few games. Yes i know praying for a habs to get hurt but that seems to be when the habs wake up the most when the opposing team is taking cheap shots and attempting to hurt players this team seems to take it up a notch when that happens. Also could the habs be playing bad because they are just warn out? Is it because a decent amount of players are on the small side and the rest of the team hasn't played this many games before in a single season? Thats basically waht happened in Carolina the refs screwed us and we sort of were worn out.
Habiman
If you intent on dressing him at all, I suppose that Kovalev on the first line with Zednik and Kouiv is a good move. Hopefully, these guys will motivate one another....The Habs must come out and skate tonight...Worried that Komi is still ridding.... Habs need size and mobility on the blue line badly... GO HABS! sakiqc
It's the most important game of the year for the Habs (so far). I'm sure they'll show character and will come out strong. My prediction : 5-2 Habs. If we lose... we're dead. Go Habs Go !! :ghg:
Ribeiro
We're not dead. It's a 7 game series. The Habs can still pull out in front. It's not comforting to know that Boston wins games win they are ahead by 2.
Habby1197
Time has come to put up or shut up... Habs must come out with all they have tonight. Let's f*uk shit up tonight boys... :ghg:
Quebecois
If Kovalev wants to be a habs next season, there is no time like the present to start producing. I like the changes, now it is up to the players to produce. :ghg:
puck7x
This is it... Time to see what kind of heart this team has. Its now or never. This game is massive, I hope they show up and compete. :ghg:

Ribeiro
Julien is an idiot for not playing Perreault. What did Perreault do in the 1st game that deserves a scratch?
puck7x
5 minutes left in the first... habs are 0/3 on the PP so far, the PP has been horrible, and the Bruins are bound to start getting their own PP's ... ugh...
Ribeiro
The PP is shit. WTF was that dumbass pass when they finally got it in the Boston zone. He flip passed it to the player 3 ft from him. What good does that do!?!? That's 2 PP blown with 0 shots. This is ridiculous.
