haber
If we are going to lose anyway, why not make it 7-1 devils early in the 2nd so I dont have to ruin another one of my days free from work by sleeping. If we intend on winning and making a game out of this then it would be nice for the team to actually get some offence at all and maybe more than 5 shots/period. And was it just me or is Gainey using the checking lines about as much as Carbo used to do? That hard to do when you're in the damn penalty box for most of the period! :puke:
JMMR
Even strength habs are +1 thats impressive.

KoZed
Well Halak just closed the door twice to keep us in the game, rest of the team should wake up.

bar
They gotta stop taking so many first period penalties, they look soooo dead out there.
Dalhabs
Is this team so bad that it cant even get some tiny pressure at all in the offensive zone?
JMMR
i don't care for the refereeing tonight Habs deserve the calls they have got. Devils could have had 1 more maybe. Who cares the Habs are lucky to be a goal down.
KoZed
AKost throwing his weight around, Laps' line almost scoring... They need to put more of these shifts

Maybe but I question the goalie interference penalty when Brodeur was a good foot outside his net, I also saw a Devil knock the NJ goal off the post, but the ref let play continue while the Devils made a run up ice (could Brodeur have gone to the bench for an extra attacker in that case?) Go Habs Go!

ForumGhost
What game is everyone watching? Habs have been putting pressure on the D for most of this period, forcing Brodeur to make some key saves. Good hockey, good back and forth action.

KoZed
Hamrlik had all the time in the world to clear that puck, so what does he do? Shoot it along the baord on the other side right on the stick of a Devils.

brobin
Halak took one period to shake the rust.. now he looks great again... this team needs both of them sharp down the stretch. I sure hope Gainey splits the duties going forward.
