kenadian
Let's hope our "stinker of the week" was the Preds game and NOT tonight Win one for Burnsy! (I mean the Habs )
dlbalr
Habs' lineup revised to reflect tonight's change.
lazy26
I'm not sure how I feel about Weber dressing over Darche. Hopefully it'll help out the PP, but I question its effectiveness 5-on-5 against the Leafs, who will be hitting hard.

Ideally, he'd give Hamrlik and Spacek each a shift or two off to try and keep them fresh late in the game. In all likelihood, he probably won't see more than 3 or 4 shifts per period 5 on 5, they'll give Moen/Pyatt (Eller would be nice but I'm not hopeful) an extra shift here and there. brobin
Need a win tonight.. I hate going to work after a loss to the leafs.

JCPetit
Playing Weber as a forward and a seventh defenseman makes sense to me, but I would have sent Pyatt to the press box instead of Darche. I suppose that Martin wants to give a little break to Darchy.
Sir_Boagalott
Rly, was the NHL week so boring that Cherry had to talk aboot Richards and PK having a lack of respect from 2 non incidents by PK?
brobin
Just once, I wish Richards or Cherry would actually give an example. They keep insinuating that he is disrespectful, but they never show anything but Crosby yapping at PK. I could pull out a clip of any two players in the game doing the same thing. The fact is that Crosby was mad because PK dared check him right into the boards. Richards was mad because PK stepped in between him and AK, then didn't take his "BS" and threw a punch back. In other news, cole is officially senile. He had more mistakes in that first 20 minutes then most play by play guys in a month.
brobin
What a joke.. there were two blatant penalties by toronto completely ignored... how about that nice long interference along the boards.. but back to the PP for the leafs. Finally. a bounce goes our way... nice shorty.
brobin
It does seem that each year for the last little while they have picked up a number 3 center that has become a huge part of the team success. This year, it appears its Halpern.
brobin
Wonder if we will even get a PP tonight. A few better bounces and this game would be over by now.

All this bunk aboot PK for 2 small incidents? Its just stupid. I could easily go through video footage of the games and show dozens of clips of players on every team the Habs have faced so far taking liberties at PK. PK is definitely targetted more than any other rookie D-man I have ever seen. But why would they talk aboot that?
brobin
WE are missing great chances.. I hate that in a tight game.. always seems to come back to haunt you. about time they called the high stick...
Sir_Boagalott
Yep, I def agree. Its been looking like a totally out do them in ever category except the score board kinda night. Or not. Way to go Cammy!!!
brobin
wow.. what a shot from Cammy.. nobody is stopping that shot! lol... nice pass Komi... and there is the Leaf PP call.. lol..
brobin
Can someone explain to me why Laps gets called for diving every time, but the leafs are diving all over the ice trying to get a 5-3 with no call. Nice save by PK!
brobin
wow.. Price had a horseshoe on that one... dodged a bullet.. we are officially in turtle mode.
brobin
Excellent game.. they could have had a blowout, but they scored when it counted. Shutting down the leafs is great, but let's be realistic.. they do suck. I hope Komi gets the second star.. was a pretty pass.

Habsfan84
Stars of the night. 1) Price - with the shutout 2) Halpern - with the winner 3) Komisarek - on the great pass on Cammalleri's goal.
Sir_Boagalott
Great job by the dmen there late in the game keeping the shut out going by getting the puck under Price for him. I had no clue how that didnt go in when I 1st saw it, but the replay from behind showed it perfectly.
Dalhabs
Glad that the game when the puck has a hard time going in Price helps us so we dont need more than 1. I thought Komi signed with Toronto btw...
