dlbalr
Sigh, poor Boyd. Played quite well and still will probably be benched. Off to update the cap projections, yippee.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I dunno, I always pull for guys like Desharnais. He's succeeded hugely at every level despite being told he couldn't. I suppose I'd rather see him get a chance than Boyd, who has a track record of being a bust...not that this is a huge issue one way or the other. dlbalr
If you're watching in 3D tonight, you'll be getting Dean Brown and Greg Millen as the PBP team. If not, it's the usual PBP teams for CBC/RDS.
dlbalr
Auld in, Desharnais will not play and will be sent down tomorrow. Interesting way to spend over $2,900 on the cap... Boyd out (despite a solid game I thought), Weber in as the team dresses 7 D. Edit: Reports of Weber for Boyd are being shot down, I give up figuring out this lineup... dlbalr
WTF would they bring up Desharnais if they aren't going to play him AND plan on sending him right back? Craziness. Somebody (maybe more than one) who played last night was questionable for tonight. Could be injury, illness, who knows? He was the precautionary recall. Evidently the player(s) in question are good to go after all.
ForumGhost
It's frustrating to watch the 'progress' of Desharnais. I know he's small and could have trouble developing into an NHL player, but he clearly has a ton of skill. He's achieved greatly and consistently in every level of he's played in. Why don't they just play him, just to see what happens? The timing is perfect. We are ahead in the standings, have an injury to a top center and are playing an opponent that's not going to make the playoffs. Just give him a healthy amount of minutes on the second line with Cammy, as an experiment. What's the worse-case scenario?

kaos
Season slowly starting to unravel Markov out. Subban looking like a rookie Cammalleri, Gionta and Gomez cant get it going. Kostitsyn inconsistent Price playing way too much....and cant trust Auld hes a ######ing sieve Now Spacek potentially out for a while

Conceptions resuppose order. :-) Or , put another way... cheer up!

So short-minded.
brobin
Habs have mailed it in so far. I knew this would happen. Saturday game against the leafs in Toronto... short some guys.. play the night before, put in the backup.. call it a night... They better wake up soon. These are two points that should be in the bank.

Habsy
Nice sequence, 3 guys standing at the leaf blue line, couldn't even get in the zone, offside. Do we miss Gomez?? Is that the problem?
brobin
Way to go Cammy.. and good hard work by Pleks (I guess he heard me). Gomez is under rated. Yes he is over paid. yes he is snake bit, but the controls the puck and gives us more time in the offensive zone by working the boards. It is very clear we don't have anyone else to take his place right now. Nice sequence, 3 guys standing at the leaf blue line, couldn't even get in the zone, offside. Do we miss Gomez?? Is that the problem? wow.. how do the leafs get away with the holding, hooking, and interference.. call something you pricks
brobin
and they call a softie on the Habs to start the 3rd.. lol.. if that is a penalty, why were the leafs not called about 10 times already?
