That was a demoralizing end to the period. They had the crowd quiet, were controlling the play, and then a failure to clear the puck after a cleanly won draw comes back to haunt them (on that 2nd goal). With Boston still up and the Leafs in cruise control, at least a point here would be really nice...or I predict there will more panic on here for the next 46 hours or so. dlbalr Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 One positive I've noticed this game is that for the most part, the forwards are more attentive in the defensive zone. I noticed last game a few players were too eager to leak out into the neutral zone but now, they're making sure control has been gained (and often back checking to get control), that's more of the defensive zone coverage we've seen this year.
