JMMR
Not a bad 1st period. I thought the Habs had some great chances and played hard. If only we could hit the net on some of these high slot chances. Plex had a good one.
RobRock
Pleks rolled one through Fleury, but not enough to put it in. Good pace so far, no majpr mistakes and not many second opportunities for the Pens.
dlbalr
Yep but these successful kills show everyone who doesn't believe that PK can do it ALL. He played 37 seconds shorthanded, that doesn't really demonstrate much of anything...other than he played 37 seconds. His presence shouldn't make or break a penalty kill. Not a bad period overall, both teams had their moments of dominance and struggles. It could be a lot worse, that's for sure.
JMMR
2 quick goals by the Flyers! Habs need a couple PP"s here.

brobin
How much you want to bet that if PK cross checked Crosby in the kidney he would get a penalty.
JMMR
Price dealing with lots of traffic. How much you want to bet that if PK cross checked Crosby in the kidney he would get a penalty. Milion percent. But hes black. 3-0 Flyers.
RobRock
Price is really on his game tonight without looking frantic. Gorges needs to be a little more physical.

hab29RETIRED
I don't get why we need to go with the regular lines for the PP. I hate that Galchenyuk and Eller don't get much time. It's bad enough the line isn't as effective with Prust not being a threat, but at least give them decent time on the PP.

RobRock
Is Gallagher too small to consider a power forward?
hab29RETIRED
Is Gallagher too small to consider a power forward? I'd say he is our BIGGEST power forward. Finally Galchenyuk and Eller.
JMMR
Now Eller and Chuck with some time. Back and forth. To bad they are saddeled with Frank.

brobin
Those missed opportunities might come back to bite them. They really need to work on a down low back door play. Every team is taking away the point shot now.
hab29RETIRED
Those missed opportunities might come back to bite them. They really need to work on a down low back door play. Every team is taking away the point shot now. That's why Galchenyuk should be out there. He's a guy who can control the play down low. I'd like to see Galchenyuk, Galleghar and MaxPac out there together on the PP.
dlbalr
Pacioretty still isn't back after leaving early on the one powerplay. His return is questionable. Also, Kunitz and Gallagher took offsetting minors at the end of the 2nd.
