That was a good period, though the Habs got away with a couple of calls. (The Parros slapping the stick away is an automatic...though I'm glad it was missed.) It's nice to see Bourque on the Galchenyuk-Eller line, he's a better fit as an offensive player than Prust is on that unit.

I think the hockey gods are with us tonight.. or out for a beer. Usually something bizarre happens to favor the Laffs.. like a fat fan falling through the safety glass at ice level to fall on a puck and stop a breakaway.. you know.. something .. unexpected.. a dead uncle reappears.. you know.. odd stuff..

Well the fact this game isn't already 5 - 0 is bizarre enough.
