Nothing To Do With Anything

I've done that a few times.

I've won a city-wide Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament and came in 3rd at a city NHL 2004 tournament. Those are the only ones I can remember but I've been in a few yournaments.

Smash Bros Melee, that game was godsend. Too bad I suck at it. It's so much fun.

I played Counter-Strike 1.6, played in all the online leagues, attended tournaments all over North America, make a good chunk of cash off that game. Could have gone professional, but decided not to.

I used to kick ass at the original N64 Super Smash Bros back in elementary school. I challenge any of you while I'm Fox!

And does anyone other than Jason B and Maca play on PokerStars.net? (i'm mbitton24)

I love that game. I almost bought a GameCube just so I could play that game when friends come over. I played it all the time back in school with my two housemates who happen to be insanely good at the game, so I didn't do too much winning, but I can hold my own. When I have the Donkey Punch going well, I can be a force to be reckoned with. I also enjoy using The Clap on airborne opponents, hehe.

Eheheh, I'm horrible at that game. All I ever do is "A-attacks" with Zelda/Shiek. Mind you, sometimes I get lucky and win, but not often. :king:

Wow, lots of Smash Bros. fans. I guess theres a reason it's a top 10 seller still =P

Yeah, went in a big tourney in grade 10. They had them at all the Famous Player theaters in the city on a Saturday (which I guess were regionals or something) and then on the Sunday they had the finals which was the top 2 from each theater. So there was 32 people there on the Sunday and if it was as busy as my theater, I'd say around 500 people participated.

So I pretty much own with Link. ^_^. Although if I'd actually managed to convince one of my friends to go, it probably would've been us two in the finals with me losing.

Link is always my second choice when I'm tired of being Donkey Kong. I also have experimented with Samus and Mr. Game&Watch (or Mr. Gay Man Watch).

I'm looking right now at a free downloadable version of Risk that can be played online. If it's any good, I'll be posting a Risk thread to try and setup a game.

Was that really necessary? From a mod of all people... :puke:

That's anti-gay? I didn't even know it was Game&Watch until I saw it written in the manual.

Well, I'm not sure of the context you were using it in, but if you were not referring to him being homosexual, it could be considered equal to a racial slur, but only if you were using that adjective to express a feeling of dislike or the fact that he's not a very good character. I know you didn't mean any harm, but it can be touchy to some people.

I always took Yoshi when I played Smash Bros. I liked to eat ppl, turn them into eggs and watch them fall off the edge.. haha. I think that was the same game anyways.

Dude! It's all about Princess Zelda! Not only does she come in a pretty dress, but she can morph into a wicked button-mashing machine! ^_^

The gay had nothing to do with my feelings about the character, it was just a funny nickname for the character since it sounds nerly identical to the real name. A simple joke. For sure not a crappy character, but I was never able to master using him. Flipping bacon with him was fun, and Scuba Steve was a solid move for him.

Yeah, that was awesome on the N64 version. It was a shame they pretty much negated that on the GameCube version. You could still eat people and crap them out as eggs, but they could control themselves inside of it enough so they usually didn't fall off.

Whenever someone is Zelda when me and guys play, they just switch to Sheik and stay as Sheik.

Yeah, Zelda herself is a terrible character, Sheik is solid though. Not very strong, but so fast.

Ahh, okay. I wasn't sure exactly what you meant and I suppose I overreacted. Sorry about that.

As for Zelda, she's not bad really. In my opinion, she's got one of the best up-smash attacks in the game, but I agree, I usually stick to Shiek for most of the game.

I've played Scrabble maybe twice in my life. Boggle: never - but I did see the episode of King of the Hill where Peggy plays it, so I feel like I have.

I wish I could experience things vicariously through tv like you do.

But then again, I would probably only watch porn.
