Instead of dragging up Teasdale or Richard (it wouldn't be Schnarr) and making them weaker as they push for a playoff spot, they're 'recalling' Tierney instead. He's a serviceable 4C that can play 8-10 minutes a night and perhaps allow one of the recalls to eventually go back to the Rocket. At this point, no one should be thinking he's the next anything beyond being a short-term roster filler. He has played nearly 600 NHL games, he's a pretty well-known commodity at this point compared to someone like Pitlick who had just 31 games at the time he was claimed. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
