Absolutely. I would make sure Dobes gets his starts. Hey Quick made a great career being a chaotic battler. Maybe Dobes can too. I would say the team has 2 1B goalies right now. Play the one whos winning a bit more, and hope monty finds nhl goalie form soon.

Im not ready to include Dobes in any talks of great rookie talent. Hes a good battler, but man he loses his net a lot. Reminds me of Tim Thomas a bit. He has to fight for every save. Maybe that will be his MO, like Quick, but he still makes me nervous back there.

Yes Kadri embellished 2 of those penalties badly. Poorly played game by the habs overall. They didnt have much possession all night. But they did have several high danger scoring chances. Wolf was amazing. Dobes looks scary in his net. Kind of reminds me of Tim Thomas. Keeps losing his net. Losing the puck. But battles so hard that he makes the save with reaction. He is swallowing pucks better than he did last year. And he is keeping the puck out of the net some how.

Demidov is so good when he has room. Unbelievable patience and pass.
