huzer
Wow, P.M was constantly stumping against the Habs all night.
JLP
You end up playing like that when your goalie is shaky as hell. Can Aebischer make a save without giving up a rebound. He turns the simplest play into a scoring chance for the other team. It's absolutely brutal to watch. this game is painful to listen to as well, team just holding on . . . brobin
Komi made the save at the end, plus bonk got a couple... .whew... good thing the shots didn't get thru to abbey...
Habsy
Murray shoulda got a penalty on Sundin, simple as that.

gohabsgo252006
Hoestly in this one, I can say the team played pretty good, Aebischer was AWFUL. 3 / 4 goales he gave up were clear soft, should've been had without a doubt. Ones where you just saw AAAAH come on stupid goalie.
BTH
3 stars: 3. Bates Battaglia 2. Andrei Markov 1. Saku Koivu
huzer
Wow, I know everyone here are Leaf haters...me, I've never cared too much one way or the other, they've never been worth the effort of giving a sh!t, but what a bunch of freakin' crybabies they are. sbhatt
They won...but...doesn't feel like a reason to celebrate. It's painfully obvious that we're in trouble goaltending-wise for the rest of the season, unless Halak can catch fire. Aebischer is garbage. Cataclaw
Should have been 5-2, but anyway. A win's a win, and against Toronblow, it's a big win. SUCK IT, MAPLE LAFFS. Revenge is sweet.
simonus
well... it should have been a call on murray and we dodged one... but its not like its the only call that was missed in this game... or in any game.
Nesquik
3 stars: 3. Bates Battaglia 2. Andrei Markov 1. Saku Koivu First star Koivu? I'm sorry to tell you this but some players played way better then Koivu. But that's RDS, they looks at stats too much.
sbhatt
well... it should have been a call on murray and we dodged one... but its not like its the only call that was missed in this game... or in any game. The Leafs got away with a ton of hooks and grabs in their own end...one particularily blatant one on Koivu comes to mind. Call it an even up non-call. Prime Minister Koivu
The win is spoiled for me by abby's terrible play. I hope he does not return next season :puke: Shades of Theo for sure :puke:
brobin
We need a goalie.. we are not going to make the stretch drive with Abbey and Halak.. Halak is okay, but Abbey is just brutal... send a pick and get a fill in goalie until Huet is back...
Dirty Harry
After watching Aebischer almost snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I dont think anyone would disagree with the fact that the habs playoff chances this season will rest on Halak's shoulders this season. Trading for a goalie would be ridiculous when we have so much great depth in the system. Halak would've made his NHL debut next season anyways, the only difference is now he will get tossed into the fire, but it works sometimes. Hockey's Greatest
When are they going to play a complete game? Was this one not important enough for a full 60 minute effort? It's obvious that Abby wasn't playing well tonight, but the Habs were outshot 30 to 13 over the last 40 minutes. Brutal.

MFT77
What a nervewracking 3rd. 2 quick goals in the 3rd. The 4th was horrendous. Just can't let in goals like that. Fortunately the Habs held on. It is unlikely Abby can carry the Habs into the playoffs. Rather see Halak in there. Wonder if this will spark Gainey to pick up a tender. Don't mind sending away a 3rd rounder for some goalie help.
