Pierre the Great
what do you guys think of eventually going to a shootout after like 6 OTs? Guys out there are risking injury now.
jetsniper
Haha, I was thinking that. After 4 OT's or something just go to a frickin shootout. Thats my sleepiness talking though, I know it's dumb idea for the playoffs.
Pierre the Great
hmm they better keep the skytrain trains running lol. They usually stop about now.
JMMR
NO way shootout to decide all this work would be horse shit.
dark_faerie87
BLASPHEMY! Hockey is a TEAM sport, not an INDIVIDUAL contest of skill. Do they revert to a home run derbie in the MLB playoffs? NO! There's no reason hockey should be any different.
Pierre the Great
yeah I know shootouts are bad but come on this game could go on forever. The teams clearly are so tired they're just doing walk through speed, waiting for something to happen. 15-20 second shifts? After a while a enough is enough before somebody collapses out there. jetsniper
To bed I go knowing I'm smart enough to get a OT goal scorer here and there. yay me. Too bad it had to be a Canucks win though. Oh well, I hate Dallas too.

JMMR
Luongo was so dominate.
Pierre the Great
I think this game puts to rest any Luongo doubters out there.
Fanpuck33
Haha, I was too busy napping between periods to post a thread for the DAL-VAN game.
Psycing
Haha, I was too busy napping between periods to post a thread for the DAL-VAN game. I'm glad I went to bed before that one even starts, haha. Almost four whole OT periods, that's krazy!
Athlétique.Canadien
Luongo is awesome but on 1 timers from the slot he's got to get those. Brodeur would 9 times out of 10. With Luongo, a fan tends to whince. Someone should work on that with him. Beyond that he's (and was) spectacular.
Captain_Stealth
What a game! Blowing the lead in the 3rd period is what the Canucks are good at, they should have held on. I thought the team played well... especially Nazzy. Luongo finally proves to the doubters and we win the first game. Kesler returns and doesn't look out of place. Now to hope Burrows and Cooke aren't out long...... For now... GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!!!

MAK
hope Cheechoo is alright, I chose the sharks to be in the finals. on the other hand, if they fail to make it far...good for us !!
JMMR
Mods should either delete this or merge it with the playoff thread!
Captain_Stealth
For those who care, Canucks Injury Update: Kesler out 4-5 weeks with a broken finger. :puke: Sopel said his back feels better but didn't skate. Cooke day to day with Groin Strain. Will see how he is tomorrow. Burrows said he'll try to skate and it was more of his jaw than head being hurt from the hit. We'll see about him. Nathan Smith and Jannik Hansen have been called up from the Moose.
