There we go, all posts should be looking like normal now (without seeing the puck drop and other notes appearing just above the ESPN ticker below everything or post divider lines mid-post). No idea what the issue was with the code, so I quickly re-did it, hopefully that solves it.

AK is so frustrating. A few good games and then back to sucking. what is so frustrating to me is watching him be the end of every offensive pressure. He can't pass. He gives it away on simple cycles all the time. He doesn't get into a shooting position when Gomez has the puck...

I have watched them cycle with great pressure until AK gets the puck, then he makes a bad "chip" and its heading out of the zone. Watch for it... just lazy and sloppy.

Kostitsyn had a good chance late in the period at least. Thing is, the 'good-for-a-bit-and-then-bad' label can be applied to most of the wingers on this team - Cammalleri and Gionta even. If only the Habs had a more consistent goal scorer...though every other team can muse the same.

Pretty quiet period altogether, to be expected I suppose with both teams on a back-to-back.

How did the panthers not get a penalty on that last play.. there was a thrown stick, a hook, and interference all one play... lol

Stick was knocked out of his hand by Darche's knee.

Can we get some sort of friggin consistency with the lines????

I'm so sick of seeing Gomez get free passes on the PP, while Ak46 keeps getting pushed to the 4th line.

At least they start the 3rd on the PP.

Still don't see the issue with Gomez - stick the enigmatic one with him (Kostitsyn) and the unproven one (Eller) with him, you aren't going to get miracles. He's shot the puck with a purpose, had some good passes, and continues to play a big role in the transition game by gaining the zone with his skating. Point wise, he's not doing much, but give credit where it's due, he is helping in other facets (save for faceoffs).

Don't forget the chatroom either, folks - http://forums.habswo....php?app=ipchat

Well, Gomez is 50% on faceoffs for the season. Pleks is 49.

He is cold as ice shooting, but that was a 4inch hole that he missed by about 2 inches.. I am not sure I would get upset over that one.

the fact is, there is not a single really impressive forward on this team, including pleks. We don't have a single 20 goal scorer. While Pleks is our best player, he is not blowing the league away by any means. Is it our lack of wingers? The system? No idea, but wis is the 2nd highest point guy on our team. Grabs and McArthur would be the top guys on our team with Pleks. We are definitely not winning games due to our offensive production.

Gomez cannot buy or even touch the net.

Gomez cannot win a face off.

I am so fed up of him.

I don't think there's any point playing anyone but Gionta or Maxpac with him. He needs to play with a pure shooter. While he is shooting more, he usually doesn't score unless the goalie lets in a weak one.

Cammalleri could be another option if he returns, especially if the Pacioretty-Plekanec-Gionta line is still together by then. The two of them had good stints together last year.

Yup.. he really is a pure playmaker and a good one. His points are very reflective of the quality of his linemates. Pleks is more well rounded. We need Cammy back soon.

wow.. now that was some big time hooking... ignored.
