Shows he had been averaging 11:51/gm this season (like noted on a strong 4th line). So either injured, or mildly (if can say that?) concussed and simply pulled for precautionary reasons, is my guess? Dalhabs
I want us to draft this guy. He is a huge 17-year old Dman playing in SHL. (Same team as Heineman) https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/665087/lian-bichsel

But dig a little deeper, and his production shifts from alright to exciting. For one, he’s second on his team in goals despite playing under 12 minutes per game. Second, here’s the list of SHL players who have scored more even-strength goals per 60 this season: Patrik Karlkvist Max Véronneau Oscar Möller Yes, Heineman is fourth in the SHL in even-strength goals per 60, with a very impressive 1.51. That’s better than dozens of NHL draft picks, notable prospects, former NHLers, and top European pros. He doesn’t turn 21 until November. GHT120
Don'y know whether they should, but:Brett Stapley dreams of an offer from the Canadiens - TVA Sports (www-tvasports-ca.translate.goog) " ... Stapley's profile is interesting. The right-handed center player shows a lot of creativity on the ice. He likes to set traps for the opposition and his play patterns are difficult for defenders to read. He's a very cerebral player," noted his head coach at the University of Denver, David Carle. He's faster than he looks and he's good on his edges. With the puck, he can throw opposing players off balance and make them look bad. When he moves his feet, he is quite dynamic in the offensive zone and in the transition phases ..." In case the translated link doesn't work: the original TVA article is here He showed slightly less offence than Jake Evans in his first two years, about the same in the third and is on pace to slightly exceed Jake this season ... at very least would seem like a good signing as as bottom 6 centre depth for one of the 25 open contract slots for 22/23. Commandant
I think Stapley and Harris will get contracts. Struble and NCAA UFAs is why it would be nice to clear more contract spots over the deadline.

NCAA free agents would be a way to speed up a rebuild ... likely not top-half of the roster players (i.e., Top 6, top 4 and starting goalie) but certainly potential for ELC bottom half players. "After clearing the puck from the BU end, the duo of Armstrong and Peterson found themselves in a 2-on-1 with Huskies star defenseman Jordan Harris. Armstrong held the puck out as Harris went onto his stomach to try and prevent the pass. Armstrong held the puck long enough for Harris' momentum to give out, leaving a tiny lane for the BU forward to find Peterson. "
