dlbalr
Speaking of ASG talk, the AHL has their skills competition today. St. Denis will be in the puck control relay and hardest shot contests. Sportsnet has coverage of this starting at 3 PM EST.
lafrous10
He was the worst goalie in the shootout competition. Very funny on the breakaway drills He really needs to work on his SO skills. Those loser points are always the difference between teams making playoffs/home ice etc.
Commandant
Price has been bad all season in shootouts, no doubt about that; but if you watched CBC last night, he wasn't even trying. Spezza came in for the shot and even before he shot Price said "Hes the hometown boy, he has to score"... and let it in. I don't think he was taking the thing seriously... most guys werent going 100%, so I wouldn't read much into last night. That said, we all know his regular season performance this year has not been good in shootouts.
bar
Haha more than Price...OUR team has to work on their shootout..sure Price lets in one goal...but our team cannot even score at all...

That's true it works both ways. Do we even have a set SO lieup? It changes every game. It's amazing how bad our forwards are in the SO even though many are suppose to be so "skilled"
JMMR
Why would the Habs have a set line up for the shootout though no one has proved they are consistant enough to earn a regular try.
JoeLassister
I'd send Weber - PK - AK46. 3 slapshots in a row no matter who scores or miss.

Helmethead
Great on our PP, but that's about it, IMO. I think our PP would be up 15 places with him in the lineup. He also had great intangibles. Definitely not worth the money Edmonton gave him but at a decent cap hit why not.

A real team player, always stuck up for his teammates.I think alot of the "doves" here didn't like the way he stuck up for Koivu and the goalies.Too tough. To all of PG's fanboys: I'd take Souray over Kaberle anytime. He wasn't a great dman, but not as bad as they say,and no worse than Kab. And he set the record for PP goals by a dman.
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
When he was here, Souray got a lot of the same sh*t that later got poured on Streit, MAB, Wiz, and now Kaberle. There are some fans that fundamentally cannot accept specialists. It's an understandable attitude, because one-dimensional players generally end up commanding a salary structured around the one thing they do really well, rather than the totality of their game. Nevertheless, sometimes people are so anxious to focus on what a specialist can't do that they downplay the importance of what he can. Souray was a great asset and I was sorry to see him go. I'm sure we can all agree that Gainey was wise not to pay him the sort of massive salary he eventually commanded, though. In any case, I'm not sure how Souray is relevant to Gauthier's supposed 'fanboys' (a category that apparently includes people like Commandant, who want Gauthier to be fired). Machine of Loving Grace
HMmm Possibly. I say doubtful. Dallas is very happy with Souray while Carolina was actively shopping Kaberle.

In that case any correlation between Souray and Kaberle is irrelevant. From a PG fan boy
