brobin Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Diaz is the next guy who needs to bury one. Quote
Lovett's Magnatones Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Wow! Preeeety obvious crosschecking penalty Quote
brobin Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Shame... Budaj gets burned, but the PK and Budaj have played great. The boys better not sit back. Quote
Habsfan84 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 22 seconds away from a great period. Last second goals hurt but still happy to have the lead. A weak goal by Budaj. This game could easily be tied right now. The Habs have hit pucks away at the last second (White and Gionta) Quote
Lovett's Magnatones Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 You guys have it good watching the TSN broadcast. This color guy from Washington is an idiot. He only refers to Ovechkin as "the Great 8." Quote
dlbalr Posted November 23, 2013 Author Posted November 23, 2013 Bouillion was the one playing on the right. That's what I meant with what I wrote...though it was very poorly worded, I'll admit. I was alleging that perhaps some of Murray's struggles stemmed from playing with a d-man who was playing out of position. 22 seconds away from a great period. Last second goals hurt but still happy to have the lead. A weak goal by Budaj. This game could easily be tied right now. The Habs have hit pucks away at the last second (White and Gionta) It may not be a great period but it wasn't far from one. To be up two after one on the road is always at the very least a good thing. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Wow... League office gave him that one, it was high, but they just didn't have the heart.... Yeah, it would be like kicking a puppy. Maybe Desharnais's eyes are really at the level of the crossbar. Hey Emelin gets a PP assist. In 30 seconds he's done the same as Bouillon has all season. Wait, I went to the bathroom... Desharnais scored? It's your duty as a Habs fan to spend the next few games in the bathroom. Quote
JMMR Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 2nd shift of the game.... Therrien puts the fourth line out there and oates gets ovechkin out. Lets hope we don't see too much of that matchup. Worked pretty well Quote
dlbalr Posted November 23, 2013 Author Posted November 23, 2013 So Therrien said before (and it was mentioned on the TSN broadcast too) that the plan is to keep Emelin's minutes somewhat low for now while he gets back into game shape. He played 9:29 in the 1st, nearly a minute and a half more than anyone else...on either team. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 PK practically took half the period off. So it looks like we'll ice the puck for the rest of the game. Quote
DON Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Murray again seems solid and playing within his limitations. Still makes me very nervous when anyone passes him the puck. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Desharnais's on fire! That shot from the slot hit the goalie! Nice, the 4th line wins an icing. Pretty much all you can ask for. Bourny is so smart. Big save by Boods. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Jeez, how many breakaways can we give up. Quote
Lovett's Magnatones Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Wtf is going on out there? Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Great physical play by Emelin to take away the rush. Is Desharnais our most dynamic offensive forward? *crickets* Quote
DON Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Wtf is going on out there? #76 tried to get too cute and turnover. Quote
Guest Stogey24 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I think Prust should be on fourth line. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Eller showed some wheels there. I noticed Ovechkin completely misjudge a defensive line against him. And now a 3 on 1 out of nowhere. Not a good play by Diaz. Quote
JMMR Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 4th line is wicked! I think Prust should be on fourth line. Yes I agree. He should play with Chuck when teams start to take liberties with him otherwise he usually brings the line down offensively. Quote

Bournivals wheels would be perfect with Eller and Galcheyuk. Quote
Neech Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Can Bournival play all three forward positions? If so, I agree that he would look good with those guys. Quote
DON Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I think Prust should be on fourth line. Could be? but got zero complaints for last game & 1/2 Markov seems to have Ovi's # Quote
