dlbalr
1 lineup change for St. John's, MacMillan's in while Scherbak is out with some sort of mystery injury. Eisenschmid moves up to the 3rd line. Andrighetto scored the first goal of the game but it has been downhill from there. 4-1 Lehigh Valley after 2. DON
lost 5-1 Tokarski 23saves and IceCaps only had 18 shots Crisp with another fight and 4th in AHL for PIMs. Holloway with 1a for 11pts in 9gms. Hudon had 5 shots. Barberio with 1a, 7pts in 9gms.
Guest Stogey24
It's pretty crazy how big the leap is from AHL to Nhl. Guys that never put up points in the show can prosper in A.
DON
Well, many do both and have fine NHL careers, but the NHL is 1/2 step quicker and skill level is higher for sure.

Same thing with prospects, if you aren't dominating the A... good luck making an impact in the show.
DON
Exactly...Beaulieu is a prime example.
dlbalr
I'm curious to see if they go with Fucale tonight or go back to Tokarski. He didn't have much help on Wednesday, the loss wasn't his fault.
DON
Thrower is playing eh. Fucale is listed as playing (0:35 in anyways)
DON
Andrighetto-from Barberio-Holloway Hudon from Holloway 7minutes in to 2nd a PP goal! If he keeps this up, Holloway will get a call-up sooner than later. 2-1 now as McCarron took penalty and IceCaps give up a PP goal.
DON
Eric Neilson & Mathers drop the gloves, Neilson much smaller but not much of bout.
DON
Sven gets double-minor out of a big scrum (announcers questioning refs on missed trip then call trip & rough on Andrighetto). (announcers seem bit overly critical of officiating in games I have heard)
dlbalr
Thrower is playing eh. Fucale is listed as playing (0:35 in anyways) There are a lot of changes tonight: Thrower for Lernout Didier for Hanley Fucale for Tokarski McNally for Eisenschmid Neilson for MacMillan The lines, for those wondering:

Both teams traded goals in the 3rd, McCarron with the final period marker for the IceCaps which also happened to be the GWG as St. John's gets out of Lehigh Valley with a split with a 3-2 win tonight. http://theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1014792

Machine of Loving Grace
I'd call McCarron a beast but that would mean he plays for Brampton.

DON
Holloway 2a for 13pts in 10gms, tied for 1st in AHL Barberio 2a now 9pts Andrighetto & Carr had 5 shots Thomas had 6 Fucale 4-0, nice pro start and sounded like he had a couple of super saves (but announcer seems very biased, so grain of salt).
