Habs30/31
Crosby due to have a break out game. Hope it's not this game. Look for a big game from Chucky. Subban will score.
J-Fin87
Its nearing mid November and Plek has more points than Crosby and Malkin, and more shockingly Dale Weiss has the most goals of any player on both teams. Are we sure this isn't a joke? Hockey must be rigged. Based on this being backwards land hopefully Crosby does the opposite of killing us like he usually does. Yes, I like the way you arrived at that. Backwards land.
DON
Many (most?) 1st half of season locks for awards, normally don't follow up with as strong a 2nd half. So has been a great start but still is only game 17 of 82, so likely shouldn't get crazy excited quite yet. Letang -10 & Crosby -6 is nice to see. Phil & Malkin are doing fine though and Fleury has awesome #s as well (1.93, .933%) so might be a good match up if Pens can slow down the high scoring Habs. habs rule
only 2 games this week, let's win em both and moveon. The Pens are in a bit of disarray with Crosby Malkin not being able to score, so let strike while the iron is hot and put our brand on them. DON
GHG Where will the offense come from today...with only 1g in last 7gms, will it be Captain Max to light up Fleury?
Guest Stogey24
Max broke the drought with his empty netter last game . Probably get a Hatty tonight at minimum
KoRP
Diggin' the GDT's Habfan84, very nice! Winning in Pit would be a treat, go Habs!
Habs30/31
Babcock has been coaching the leafs for a month. They stink. He wants "bigger nets"
dlbalr
It's interesting that Plotnikov's out of the lineup already for Pittsburgh. There was a fair bit of fanfare when he was brought over; either he'd play a top six role or add some scoring punch to the third line. Clearly, that hasn't happened yet. dlbalr
whats sekac up to these days? Hurt right now. He has a goal and two assists in 11 games so far this year.
DON
Habs 2nd best PK, 3rd best PP and 3rd best 5 on 5 scoring, seems like a team doing quite well.
DON
Boone noted, Habs have had a PP goal for 7 straight games, definite bonus compared to last year.
Habsfan84
so not the best start to the game but they got it back on the red hot power play. Very back and forth game with each team taking control of the game at points. That should definitely be no goal. No evidence it crossed the line. Plus I would of argued goalie interference. Jeff Price (no relation)
I'm not liking the flow here. At this pace, the Penguins will have 60 shots on net by the end of sixty minutes.
Jeff Price (no relation)
Ohh. DSP jabbed Fleury real hard there. He looks like he's in pain. Ohh, it was a Pittsburgh player. I hope Fleury is okay... That looks like it hit his eye.
dlbalr
Tough goal to end the first period on what looked like a Maatta redirection. Or off Subban. It's weird - last game (MTL/BOS) was a battle of the two top offensive teams and it was a low chance, lower scoring game. Tonight is a battle of two of the top defensive teams and it has that feel of a 4-3 type of game.
sim.on
That first period was fun hockey to watch. I didn't like what I saw from emelin in that period. Chucky was looking good though, certainly came to play tonight,
Habs30/31
Fast pace. Great period. 5 on 5 better hockey than when either team was on pp. Even though habs scored. Great shot by Markov. Still by far the best dman for Habs this season.
habs rule
I think the boys are going to have to turn it up a notch if we are going to win this. Pits looked awfully good in the first. Condom keeping us in it at this point. He had no chance either goal, I don't think Price would have stopped either one.

Habsfan84
I hope the Weise injury isnt too bad but it sure didnt look good. Have to see the replay to see how exactly it happened. Putting no weight on his leg
